As an artist I work primarily in collage and screen print using vintage images. Combining dream state subjects with bold natural patterns and biological imagery I create bright, pla

yful, surreal worlds, which seem alien, yet exist within and around us. I'm inspired by the beauty of natural formations and patterns. I like to play with scale and placement to reveal connections. I am the founder of The Pie Kitchen Print Studio - a screen printing studio which aims to support young and emerging artists.

I'm getting out and about a bit over next couple of months. First up I'll be at on Thursday next week, in the Buttermarket, it's a really fab market, and a lovely town, well worth a visit.

Then next month on Saturday 3rd I'll be doing a stall at the CRATE Vinyl, Craft Ale and Print Market , Birkenhead organised by . Wonderful live music venue, check em out if you've not been.

Then in July I'll have an exhibition at the soon to (re)open in Llanidloes. Wishing them the best of luck with the refit and opening, I think the whole town is rooting for this one, can't wait to see what they do with it. I'll be putting together a suitably wild and foody selection of collage artwork for that show. Exact dates tbc depending on reopening schedule, will update when I can.

It's all getting a bit birdy.

The chicks have given me a new appreciation for and connection to birds that I've not really had before. I'm seeing and hearing birds everywhere. They're so kind of silly and simple, but also just incredible little creatures. Loving having them sat new to me by the table pecking around in their box.

I've dug this one out from a couple of years ago. 'Bird on Birds'. Always really liked this one.
