our Scalarama Liverpool run at artefact ends on Wednesday 28th October with a very special VHS screening of 28 DAYS LATER (2002) with halloween costumes encouraged and tricks ‘n’ treats aplenty! this British horror has become a modern classic, spinning three sequels with a fifth instalment currently in production. shot on a digital camcorder, the VHS format is perfect for viewing such a visceral and brutal film!

before the film starts, we will have a very special VHS screening of horror short THE BOTHY ON THE COLD MÒR (2025), directed by Highlands-based filmmaker Lucinda Lewis. Lucinda has very kindly provided us with a copy of her short on VHS to celebrate the 1 year anniversary of its debut!

tickets are available on our Eventbrite page, but act quick as they’ve been selling all month!

Scalarama Liverpool is supported by Film Hub North with National Lottery funding on behalf of the BFI Film Audience Network.

we SAY we’re the cheapest around, but is there any evidence? well, it’s time to put our money where our mouth is, and compare all of our console prices to the high street competition at CEX!!! we’ve done extensive research (searched up on the CEX app) to make sure you know how much of a bargain you’re getting, and have even dropped some prices as a result!

and if you have any issues with stuff you’ve got from us, we are always happy to take a look and sort it out! the little things like this that make us Liverpool’s greatest retro media stall found at the back of RED BRICK MARKET LIVERPOOL
