We've been working hard over the last month to help the lovely folks create their new outdoor venue. It was clear from the beginning that the 22x25m space required an unusual approach to sound reinforcement, with no roof structure or internal walls for mounting loudspeakers. With residential properties in earshot, it was also important to reduce spill from the venue. This led us to construct what you see now, a high tensile wire grid acting as a false roof, with 16 weatherproof pendant speakers hanging above the venue (pointing away from the flats!). These boast a 140 degree dispersion providing even coverage throughout the space. Two 18" subs are fitted underneath the bleachers out of sight and to supplement the bass and sub bass ranges. The Sub Rosa team have truly created a unique space and a hidden gem for those that are willing to seek it out!
