Good News! Apple have finally announced U-turns on their repair policy beginning from Autumn!

Apple iPhone repair policy currently involves part serialisation & calibration when repairing with new original Apple iPhone parts. However when we fit used original apple parts removed from another device there are no recalibration options available. They also use software to reduce the functionality of used original parts.

My primary method of iPhone screen parts supply involves the display glass recycling ♻️ process where I refinish the top layer on glass on original cracked apple displays.

Hopefully this will further incentivise reuse and recycling of original parts as they are of the very highest quality ✨️

Hopefully everyone had a lovely Easter Sunday! We had lunch with my family today, it was great to see everybody 😁 also still managed to find time to upgrade my granny's old phone which I was very happy to help with.😇

Some cracks run deeper than others... 👀

When a screen is severely cracked it can leave an impression/scratch on the plastic substrate based layers of the touch and/or image panels.

Depending on the severity of the scratch I can then further strip back the layer of the touch panel and replace it as well in order to ensure a best quality finish and retaining your original Apple quality image ✅️

This iPhone 11 came to me with a very heavy smash directly over the mainboard/brain of the device. On testing the phone I found it was restarting every 3 minutes due to a disconnection in the interposer layer that acts as a bridge between the top and bottom layers of the mainboard. After splitting the mainboard in two and reballing the interposer I then rejoined the layers. On testing I could confirm the restarting issue was solved ✅️

Then I began the process of refurbishing the screen. The original apple image panel was still fully functioning beneath all the cracks so glass and touchpanel layers were carefully stripped from the screen and new layers applied. I then transplanted the original apple configured touch panel microchip onto the new touch panel to keep that original Apple touch calibration. 👌

By transplanting the original touch panel microchip during each screen repair we also avoid the nasty "Unknown Part" warning messages that comes when repairing the latest iPhone Screens.🔬

All completed within 24 hours, I offer a lifetime warranty on screen repairs and 3 month warranty on mainboard work.
