This is a charity that sits very close to Nathan’s heart, and he’s committed to pushing himself through every mile to help raise awareness and support for those living with Crohn’s and Colitis.

🔧 BMW 4 Series Convertible – Electric Window Motor Repair 🔧

Another challenging repair carried out by Electromec on a BMW 4 Series Convertible.

The rear electric window motor had failed because the stop locator wasn’t functioning correctly, preventing the convertible roof from opening and closing.

This made the repair particularly difficult, as we couldn’t open the roof to access and remove the glass from the window regulator.

After carefully overcoming the access issue, we were able to remove the necessary components, replace the faulty rear electric window motor and get everything operating correctly again. ✅

This vehicle came in with a fault relating to the mass air flow (MAF) sensor. After carrying out a full diagnostic check, we identified the faulty sensor and supplied and fitted a quality replacement.

But the job doesn’t stop there! 👨‍🔧

Once the new MAF sensor was fitted, we used our diagnostic equipment to inform the ECU that the sensor had been replaced, allowing the vehicle’s management system to correctly recognise and adapt to the new component.
