🎧Huge thanks to Sam from HEA Distribution for stopping by to showcase the incredible Meze Audio Headphones and Luxsin-audio Premium DACs and headphone amplifiers.

We had a fantastic time listening through the Meze range — starting with the classic, beautifully crafted 99 Classics all the way up to the stunning high-end Poets.

Meze Audio has built a real reputation for combining exquisite design, premium materials, and natural, engaging sound that just pulls you into the music.

Paired with the Luxsin headphone amplifiers, which deliver clean power, excellent dynamics and refined performance, the whole experience was a pure audio delight 👌🏻

We’ve just placed our display stock order and can’t wait to add these outstanding products to our portfolio.

Just had an awesome visit from Mike at VERTERE! 🔥

Vertere Acoustics is a highly respected high-end brand known for precision-engineered turntables and a pure focus on getting the most out of vinyl.

Mike brought in the stunning DG-X turntable and walked us through all the upgrade paths available — from the base model right up to the full high-end configuration. Incredible engineering and so many ways to grow with this deck as your system evolves.

What do you think… should we add Vertere to our portfolio? Let us know in the comments! 👇

My son here, locked into a PS5 game with a premium wireless gaming headset from Audeze …

Are we meeting them where they are, or missing what true high-end audio is about?

Today’s audition was pure music joy! 🎶

My client arrived looking to upgrade his beloved legacy Mission PCM4000 — a classic British CD player from the mid-80s, known for its solid metal chassis, 16-bit 4× oversampling with twin Philips TDA1541 DACs, and that refined, musical character that made it a high-end contender in its day.

We spent a couple of hours spinning an incredibly eclectic mix of music — everything from Texas, Guns and Roses, Sting and Paul Simon plus many others— listening carefully and comparing.

The clear winner? The stunning new Gold Note CD-5.2.

This elegant Italian beauty features a precision Stream Unlimited tray-loading mechanism, the excellent AKM AK4493 DAC, and a sleek black anodised aluminium chassis with intuitive touchscreen. It’s compact, versatile, and delivers stunning transparency, dynamics, and natural musical flow.

A big step up in resolution, silence between the notes, and overall engagement — and the perfect modern companion for a serious CD collection.

We also had a little teaser session with the Gold Note DS10 Evo Streamer and PSU-10

We’ve just finished building and setting up this absolute stunner of an Linn Sondek LP12 🔥

Components:
• Linn LP12 Fluted Plinth
• Linn Keel SE Sub-chassis
• Linn Arko Tonearm
• Linn Kendo MC Cartridge
• Linn Trampoline Baseboard
• Linn Urika Phono Stage
• Linn Klimax Radikal 3 Power Supply

The sound from an LP12 at this level is pure Linn magic — that signature sense of pace, rhythm and timing, effortless musical flow, and deep emotional engagement that makes every record feel alive and compelling. It doesn’t just play music; it draws you in and keeps you listening long into the night.

It’s all set up and dialled in, ready for one very lucky client on Monday.

Huge thanks to the team at Linn for the incredibly quick turnaround, and special thanks to Paul Carlin of Linn for checking over the build with me.

Paired here with the PMC Prophecy 5’s and Naim 200 series preamp + power amp… the whole system is singing.
