Arbarr’s Congratulations to Blackrock – Best Small Town in Ireland!
Arbarr would like to extend a massive congratulations to the residents of Blackrock for being named Best Small Town in Ireland in the 2024 National Tidy Towns Competition. This is a fantastic achievement and a testament to the hard work and dedication of the local community.
This award is not just about planting flowers or picking up litter anymore—it’s about championing sustainability, tackling climate change, and promoting biodiversity.
Arbarr is proud to announce the successful first phase completion of the pathway lighting project at Blackrock Park This forward-thinking initiative integrates cutting-edge solar and wind energy solutions with advanced battery storage technology, providing a fully off-grid, sustainable lighting system for the park’s walkways.
We were delighted to receive this message from Blackrock Park Committee member Eileen Guiney earlier this week:
“The Lighting project received an award this week in the Louth County
Council "Louth in Bloom" 2024 - Best Sustainable Initiative/Project - Blackrock Park Sustainable Lighting. We are delighted and Arbarr should also take a bow. We found working with yourselves on that project was excellent in the communication, advice and support you gave us throughout the process and afterwards.”
