I'm still here... Observing the market and ready to share my next prediction. If you're looking to buy a graphics card today hold off. In April a lot of the UK are being hit with substantial electricity price increases resulting in fewer demand for cards from those crypto mining and a surplus of cards which imo will then be sold on the second hand market. What this will do is inevitably reduce prices on new cards and used as demand falls and the surplus in used cards selling at a price less than today.

Note for example an RTX 3080 V1 (non LHR) was selling for £1,300 in October, £1,100 in January and now around £900-£950. Prices are coming down fast.

I shared with you all to buy cards in April 2021 as prices will rise (prediction was correct), let's see what happens now!

This is a controversial post for sure, but if you need a graphics card right now and desperate for one your real only viable option is to pay the high retail price. Nvidia announced this shortage will continue into 2022 meaning these prices today will go up. MSI and ASUS are increasing prices again for the second time this year and demand is still high! This is not going to improve for the next year 😢
