Due to the rapidly changing Covid-19 situation globally, both UCC 2020 and BDCAT 2020 will take place on-line. All papers in the main track and the workshops will be delivered on-line. The registration fees have been adapted to reflect this change. All peer-reviewed accepted papers will appear in the proceedings published by IEEE.

Tim Bell reprises the past few years of cloud development at CERN in the opening keynote of the third day of the UCC and BDCAT co-located conferences. Today is industry day, during which a wide variety of applications of cloud and big data computing will be covered, including particle physics, which has given the start to a number of useful technologies including the world-wide web and grid computing, and is now playing a strong role in applying and taming the cloud for use in scientific computing.
