Hi all it's been a minute but a quick update on prices of computers and laptops. I would say we, but actually the globe is currently suffering from RAM shortage and this is due to AI data centres buying up all the available memory they can get there hands on and in turn it has pushed the prices up not just a little bit but an absolutely stupid amount 6 weeks ago we were paying around £30 for 16gb of RAM it is currently selling at £170 with an expected price increase again next week.

This can all be verified on Google or any search engine.

So sadly prices have to go up and as far as the industry is concerned we should not see a drop until late 2027 early 2028.

I have stock piled as much as I can afford but on average it has added at least £100 on a typical computer or laptop, also we are seeing this affects the SSD hard drive market and Graphics cards due them all using RAM.
