Are you over-editing things viewers don’t notice?
When you’ve recorded the video yourself, you notice every tiny detail. You know where a cut moved, whether the logo feels slightly too big, or whether one edit isn’t exactly how you imagined it.
Your viewers usually don’t notice any of that.
They weren’t there when you recorded it, they don’t know what the original version looked like, and they’re not comparing every edit with the version in your head. They’re simply deciding whether the content is useful enough to keep watching.
That’s where perfectionism starts costing you time.
If an edit is genuinely wrong, fix it. But if you’re spending hours moving tiny things around that nobody else will ever notice, get the video published and put that energy into recording the next one.
