03.09.2026 - Little Wonders Group

What an amazing session we had today!

Our little wonders explored their new room and setting, and the babies definitely approved. They enjoyed exploring the sand, sensory room, mirrors, books, toys, and the fruit water train.

The Little Wonders session is not only about exploring new experiences with your baby, but also about building new relationships between mums and babies. We captured some absolutely wonderful moments during today's session.

At the end of the session, Tracy read a story to our little wonders, and they absolutely loved this special time and interaction with books.

🌟 Little Wonders Baby Group - Session Summary (27.08.2026)
What an amazing session we had today with the babies and their families who attended Little Wonders! Today, the children enjoyed a messy mat activity using farm animals and Weetabix. The babies explored different textures, developed their sensory skills, and had fun playing alongside their peers. It was wonderful to see everyone engaging with the activity and enjoying quality time together.

We have some happy and some sad news to share with you.
🥳The happy news is that we have a date now for Stay & Play starting again, so put Tuesday 15th September in your diaries! We can't wait to welcome back all of our lovely under 5's and their parents/carers. 🥳
🥹The sad news is that today is our Admin Leanne's last day. I'm sure you will all agree that she will be missed greatly.
We wish you luck in your new job, and would like to thank you for everything you have done at Gipton and Osmonthorpe Children Centre's for us and our families. 🥹

The school holidays are here! We have shared information for various fun days in the surrounding areas over the next few weeks but please remember we are still running our breastfeeding support group and baby group throughout the holidays too!
