Finally got around to our Hampstead project to take some decent pictures. Clients over the moon with the system and its running like a dream.

We worked closely with the interior designer to make sure we kept everything in keeping with the designs.

Cobham Takeover - We've just completed this system takeover for an amazing family over in cobham surrey. We answered a sos call from john at as the client had been let down by another installer. After meeting with the client, we established what they wanted from their system and what areas we could improve for them.

First, we we completed a network overhaul removing the older unifi access points for 7 x new WIFI 6 pro versions. We removed the old routers from the rack and reconfigured the existing unifi security gateway.

We swapped out the old patch panel for a keystone version to make sure the cable infrastructure and terminations were correctly done.

Relocated and reterminated the existing CCTV NVR and replaced the faulty monitor. We managed to get a few of the cameras back up and running.

Next up was the rako system. We changed over the old rako bridge for the new updated version. Client can now access their rako system anywhere in the world thanks to rako cloud.

We added the garden lighting to the rako system as this was sitting on an old school timer and added a new wireless keypad to easily switch the lights on and off.

With the existing control4 system, we updated the controller that was on 2.10.2 to 3.3 and added the skyq box to IP control as the client had to use 2 remotes 🙈. We integrated the cinema lighting into the control4 so the client has super quick access to lighting control without opening their rako app.

We will be back in a few weeks to do some additional works on the rako system. We are pleased to say the client is extremely happy with the end results

The old network had a download speed of 30mbps its now reaching 150mbps 👌

Out with the old in with the new!!

We've been helping out over in Dorset overhauling this system and adding some new tech to bring this house up to date.

The first task was to strip out redundant cables and old equipment to make way for the brand new gear!

This now features a brand new equipment including...
• Araknis 24 port POE network switch
• Araknis 16 port POE network switch
• Bianry MOIP controller with transmitters and receivers.
• Core 5 processor
• 16x16 Triad audio matrix
• 8 zone Triad amplifer
• Upgraded HDD on the CCTV nvr and added 2 x additional cameras to the interal of the property

This system is now working perfectly with super fast switching of audio and video. 🙌

Good friday? Yes, it was! Over at and home doing some more works.

We have removed the old pendant lights and added 10 downlights in the lounge and 6 downlights in the hallway.

The lounge is now nice and bright with the option to dim the lights with a new dimmer switch installed.

We then upgraded the kitchen/dining room TV from a 55" to an impressive 85" samsung. Sky box nicely hidden away behind the screen for that neat no cable look.

Today we was over at our hampstead project making a few changes. EA-1 added to the lounge area to help with the zigbee occasionally dropping off so we made aure those issues got sorted.

We also changed the cabinet under the TV which has some of the devices housed behind it and also lowered the TV as this new cabinet was lower.

Hampstead Smart Home - we've finally completed and handed over our smarthome project in hampstead. Done a full walk through with the client and they are over the moon. Here's a preview ahead of the full youtube video dropping early next year!
