𝗔 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗨𝗗, 𝗙𝗨𝗟𝗟-𝗖𝗜𝗥𝗖𝗟𝗘 𝗠𝗢𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧!

It’s always lovely to receive feedback from a customer, but this one feels a little more special.

Here at 𝗦𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗻𝘁 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀, we’re incredibly proud to support the 𝗕𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗟𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝘂𝘀𝗲𝘂𝗺, with their promotional print and the distribution of their summer and Christmas campaigns.

For Emma Middleton , 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗿, there’s an extra-special connection. Before joining Sorted, Emma spent 𝟭𝟰 𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝘆 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝘂𝘀𝗲𝘂𝗺 𝗮𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗿. So, to now be working with the Museum again, this time from the other side of the table, really is a full-circle moment.

Having spent so many years there, Emma knows first-hand just how important the Museum is to the Black Country, and how much work goes into promoting its fantastic experiences, events and stories.

Now, she gets to combine that knowledge and experience with what we do at Sorted, helping the Museum with its print and distribution requirements.

𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗠𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗗𝗮𝘆

At 𝗦𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗻𝘁 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀, we know that behind every job, every deadline and every machine is something far more important our people.

The print industry can be busy. Deadlines, production schedules and keeping customers happy can all bring pressure, which is why we believe it’s important to create a workplace where people feel supported, valued and able to talk.

David Harris, Managing Director at Sorted, says:

Here at 𝗦𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗻𝘁 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 it’s always great to work with local businesses, and recently we’ve had the pleasure of carrying out work for 𝗜𝗴𝗹𝗼𝗼 - 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘁𝘆 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀, another Kingswinford-based company.

𝗜𝗴𝗹𝗼𝗼 are an experienced refurbishment, fit-out and property maintenance specialist, helping businesses transform commercial spaces from initial concept through to completion.

As part of their latest refurbishment project in Stourbridge, 𝗦𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗻𝘁 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 produced a series of large mesh banners for Igloo, which are now in situ and helping to promote the project while work gets underway.

𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗔 𝗥𝗜𝗗𝗘, 𝗗𝗔𝗩𝗜𝗗!

After 82 miles, plenty of climbing and some beautiful Wye Valley scenery, David Harris has completed the Parkinson's UK 𝗣𝗲𝗱𝗮𝗹 𝗪𝘆𝗲 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝘆 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲!

Anyone who knows David will know just how much 𝗱𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 he puts into a challenge. He put the training in, took on the hills and kept those legs turning all the way to the finish.

What an achievement, 𝟰𝘁𝗵 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝟰𝟬 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝗥𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗲, the longest distance!

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁? 𝗛𝗲 𝗮𝗯𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝘁!

The Wye Valley is one of David’s favourite places, so taking on such a tough challenge in such beautiful surroundings made it even more special.

Most importantly, David was riding to raise vital funds for 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗼𝗻'𝘀 𝗨𝗞, helping support research, specialist care and people living with Parkinson’s.

𝗔 𝗵𝘂𝗴𝗲 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗲, 𝗗𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗱, from everyone at Sorted Print Services!

𝗚𝗢𝗢𝗗 𝗟𝗨𝗖𝗞, 𝗗𝗔𝗩𝗜𝗗!

This 𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝟮𝟬𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿, our Director, David Harris, will be swapping the office for 82 miles of cycling through the 𝗪𝘆𝗲 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝘆 as he takes on the Parkinson's UK 𝗣𝗲𝗱𝗮𝗹 𝗪𝘆𝗲 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝘆 challenge.

𝗜𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗗𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗱, 𝘆𝗼𝘂’𝗹𝗹 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗵𝗲’𝘀 𝗴𝗼𝘁 𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗱𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗱𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲 – 𝘀𝗼 𝘄𝗲 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗵𝗲’𝗹𝗹 𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗶𝘁 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗵𝗲’𝘀 𝗴𝗼𝘁!

The Wye Valley is also a particular favourite of David’s, so there’s probably no better place for him to take on a challenge like this… although 82 miles and some serious climbs might make him question that decision at some point!

Most importantly, David is taking on the challenge to support Parkinson's UK and its mission to improve life for everyone affected by Parkinson’s (a cause that affects over 150,000 people in the UK)

The charity funds vital research, provides support and information, and works to improve the lives of people living with Parkinson’s every day.

Fast-track pioneering research toward a cure.
Fund specialised nurses and helplines providing immediate care.
Support life-changing resources that help individuals live well with the condition.

𝟲𝟬𝟬 𝗙𝗟𝗔𝗚𝗦. 𝟱𝟬 𝗦𝗖𝗛𝗢𝗢𝗟𝗦. 𝗢𝗡𝗘 𝗔𝗠𝗔𝗭𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗟𝗟𝗘𝗡𝗚𝗘.

At 𝗦𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗻𝘁 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀, we’re proud to be a 𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗕𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀, so when an incredible local fundraising challenge like 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗻𝘆’𝘀 𝗠𝗶𝗹𝗲 comes along, we wanted to do our bit to support it.

𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗻𝘆 𝗦𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗵 𝗞𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝗘𝗠 is taking on an incredible challenge running 𝟱𝟬 𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝟱𝟬 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗪𝗼𝗹𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘁𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝘄𝗼 𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗿𝘂𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝘂𝗽𝗶𝗹𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹, to raise money for Dementia UK.

And we’re delighted to have teamed up with 𝗗𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗵𝗮𝗺 and 𝗘𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘆𝟯 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻 in Brierley Hill to produce 𝟲𝟬𝟬 𝗳𝗹𝗮𝗴𝘀 for the participating schools.

And we’re especially proud that 𝗦𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗻𝘁 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝟯𝟬𝟬 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗳𝗹𝗮𝗴𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗙𝗢𝗖 to help support the challenge.

The flags will be distributed across all 50 Wolverhampton schools, giving children something to wave, cheer and get behind as their classmates run their mile alongside Manny.

𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝘂𝘀, 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁.

Supporting local people. Supporting local organisations. Supporting our communities.

We’re proud to put our print expertise to work for such a fantastic cause and even prouder to see the Black Country coming together to support Manny and the children taking part.

We’re continuing our 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 series here at 𝗦𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗻𝘁 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀, getting to know the people behind the business.

And today, we’re putting the spotlight on someone who plays a huge part in shaping where we’re going and how we get there: David Harris, 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿.

David has been part of the Sorted Team for 𝟮.𝟱 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀, bringing leadership, experience, problem-solving and a clear focus on doing things the right way.

As Managing Director, David is involved in so much of what happens behind the scenes; from making decisions and solving problems to supporting the team and keeping things moving when deadlines are tight.

But, as you’ll see from his answers, there’s definitely more to David than meetings and management!

Often people think about the big print jobs for schools.

𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲𝘀, 𝗶𝘁’𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗽𝗶𝗲𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗶𝗴𝗴𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗺𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀.
