Designed with AI? 🤖 Give it the human finishing touch. ✍️

AI is brilliant for turning a blank page into a big idea — and it’s becoming an incredibly useful creative tool.

But before you hit PRINT, a little human know-how can make all the difference.

Here are a few things worth checking:

📐 Start with the right shape
Creating a poster, banner or social graphic? Tell your AI the proportions you need from the start. Trying to force a square image into an A1 poster later rarely ends well!

🔍 Zoom in. Then zoom in again.
AI has improved enormously, but strange fingers, wonky objects, odd lettering and mysterious background details can still sneak through. They’re much easier to spot on screen than after you’ve printed 500 copies.

✂️ Think beyond the edge
Print needs a little extra room. Keep important text and logos safely away from the trim and make sure backgrounds and images extend into the bleed.

🖼️ Size really does matter
A small AI-generated image won’t magically become a beautifully sharp A1 poster. Start with the largest, highest-quality image possible or have it professionally upscaled before printing.

👀 And finally… let a human have a look.
AI can create some amazing things, but there’s still plenty to be said for an experienced pair of eyes before your artwork heads to print.

Eva joins us with a Masters in illustration and a degree in graphic design, bringing another talented creative eye — and a very handy set of artistic skills — to the Prontaprint studio.
