One day to go!

This is a huge thank you to everyone who has supported our dream of providing a community tech hub with maker spaces, gaming, learning and opportunities for all!

We have raised an unbelievable £3,250 so far, and every penny will be going to deliver as many work experience placements, learning days and more when the Tavern opens - as well as some awesome promises to our donors!

We could have painted it white. We didn’t 💛🖤

The first colour test is on the new Utopia building, charcoal black up top, unmistakable Utopia yellow below.

Subtle? Nope 😄

But we never wanted to build something designed to be missed. We want to create a technology centre that feels different, sparks curiosity and brings even more energy to this corner of Kilmarnock.

For now, it’s one stripe of yellow.

But it’s a stripe with big ambitions.

We can't wait to see the new doors and windows go in, and for those of you asking what about the mural...don't worry...we are still hatching plans for what that might look like!

£3,100 raised for Future Utopians so far! 🙌

Honestly, we’re so incredibly grateful.

Every donation, share and word of encouragement is helping us create something that goes far beyond a new home for Utopia.

Future Utopians is about giving young people more opportunities to explore technology, build practical skills, gain confidence and see that there could be a place for them in this industry.

Seeing so many customers, friends, local businesses and members of our community get behind that idea has been genuinely humbling.

Thank you to everyone who has helped us get here. Whether you’ve donated £10, chosen one of our rewards or simply shared the campaign, you’re helping us build the next chapter of Utopia.

This week we saw two very special PCs make their way from our workshop to an awesome creative client 😎

While PCs like this are some of the most powerful desktop systems in the world, it's worth saying that we love building all our systems, big or small.

We have a saying at Utopia that "Every PC has a story". From systems like these that will help unleash our clients' creative genius, to our entry-level gaming PCs for a gamer taking their first steps into PC gaming.

Every system is a privilege to build and means the world to the person receiving it. And that is something we will never take for granted 💛

We’ve just passed our first milestone of £1,000 for The Big Move, and wowzers, we’re blown away 💛

To everyone who has donated, shared the page, liked a post, left a comment, told a friend, or cheered us on, thank you.

We know times are tough for many, so every bit of support really means the world to us. It tells us that you believe in what we’re trying to build, not just a new home for Utopia, but a maker and learning space where young people can get hands-on with technology, build confidence, learn new skills, and see what’s possible.

We’re now heading towards our next goal of £1,500, and the momentum has given the whole team a real lift.

Wow, what a weekend!

Thanks to the hundreds of people who attended our tent at the Kilmanrock Fair Festival on Saturday! It was an absolute blast!

We took the opportunity to share our plans for the Bellfield Tavern while taking on board the ideas and suggestions from visitors to the stand about what they wanted to see in the new building!

We also took a brave step and launched our Crowdfunder (linked below), with all proceeds supporting the community-focused goals we have for our new home.

Oh, and there were competitions! We were giving away a gaming monitor and accessories. Had a LEGO mascot competition, guess the weight of the GPU and draw your own PC ... thanks to everyone who took part. We are reaching out to the winners as we speak!

Count us in for next year!
