Haven’t posted a job for a few weeks
Yesterday we booked in a iPad 9th generation
The digitiser was completely broken and unsafe for kids to use.
We ask for your device for 24hrs with this type of repairs this is to ensure a professional service is carried out to ensure high standards,
We take an average of 1 and a half hours on these type of repairs
This is to enable us to remove all the previous adhesive that was used, this is to ensure we can get an even placement of the new glass replacement
We also remove the tacky double sided tape that comes with the replacement as this isn’t sufficient enough to withstand every day challenges the device is put through especially with children.
Most other places use this (double sided tape) and end up back in the store a few months later.
I’ve included a fair few photos to show the progression of the repair from start to finish.
We don’t do a quick repair we pride ourselves on high standards to ensure long lasting repair.
If you have a repair that’s same day on an iPad then we would definitely be suspicious of how this work is carried out and rushed.
We included photos of the high quality tools we use just the screwdrivers themselves were £80 the brush costing £40
We also cover the top camera to ensure we don’t cause any damage with broken glass or dust.
As you can see also the last photo is how we pass our devices onto the customer completely covered with our flyer and a screen cleaning pack
