Pc came into the workshop with cutting out issues and slow performance.
The machine is 8 months old and sold as new from a site on the internet .
We found the following issues:
Hard drive was manufactured in 2015 🤯but the pc is only supposed to be 8 months old .
Hard drive is 14% healthy and had over 3000 Bad sectors upon health testing
The heatsink had the wrong type of fan for the processors heat distribution and has caused the thermal paste to crack and dry out (luckily the processor has survived)
We will be fitting a
A new cooling heatsink with the correct copper pipe heat distribution and fan and applying new and the correct amount of thermal paste .
In addition a new Solid state hard drive and copying the customers games and personal files.
Boils my blood so called companies selling gaming desktops as new that have old 2nd hand parts over 15 years old inside 👍
