When phones and tablets play up, it’s annoying, inconvenient and sometimes downright disastrous…Most people start by saying:
“It’s probably something simple but…”
And honestly? Sometimes it is. Sometimes it really isn’t 😂
Either way, we’ll always give you honest advice and explain things properly without baffling you with tech jargon.

We fix all the usual things like screens, batteries and charging issues, but we’re also happy to help with the odd little problems that nobody else seems interested in sorting.

Can’t get to us during the day? That’s exactly why we offer extended working hours to fit around real life.
Even better…if getting out and about is a pain, Pixie 🚗(our little Gadget Refuge smart car) can collect and return your device locally too.

It’s nearly time and we are buzzing to be heading to Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival this year! 🎉

You’ll find us in Club Clan Bella all weekend, helping festival-goers keep their phones happy while they enjoy everything Bella has to offer.

We’ll have free phone charging available, we’ll be giving phones a quick clean and if the worst happens and you end up with a cracked screen, we’ll be on hand to help with repairs too.

We’re looking forward to meeting lots of people, being part of the festival atmosphere and hopefully helping a few phones survive the weekend! 😄

There are moments in business that remind you just how fortunate you are.

Over the past few weeks, we’ve received kind messages, words of encouragement, recommendations and support from customers old and new. Some people checked in on us, some waited patiently and others simply reminded us why we do what we do.

When you’re a small family business, those things mean more than you could ever put into words.

We’re not a big company with a call centre or a corporate office. We’re part of this community, and the support we’ve received has been genuinely humbling.

As things return to normal, we just wanted to say thank you.

Wonder why we get stuck in that continual doomscrolling dopamine loop? 🤔

Endlessly refreshing for updates triggers small, continuous hits of dopamine, giving us a "reward" that reinforces the behavior, even if the content makes us miserable. A bit like playing the slot machines right?
Well…look at this 👇🏼

According to former Google design ethicist Tristan Harris, the common feature used in social media sites etc, ‘pull to refresh’ was inspired by casino gambling games such as slot machines 🎰

With this in mind it is important to understand that these devices are designed to be engaging and addictive 🧠

Dear valued customers.

As many of you may be aware, we are currently dealing with a very traumatic personal situation. This means life behind the scenes has been a bit more difficult than usual to say the least.

We’re still working, still repairing devices and still fully committed to helping every customer who comes to The Gadget Refuge, however, we must put our family first so this means there may be times over the coming days where repairs take slightly longer than normal, replies may be delayed or we may need a little extra flexibility.

Whilst we’re not happy at having to run the business like this, we hope that by staying open, pushing through and doing the very best we can, we are showing our commitment to you, customers

We will do our best to keep everything moving and to provide the level of service you deserve. We simply ask for a little patience and understanding while we navigate this difficult situation

The work that's involved is external work from grass cutting to gutter cleaning. I'm looking for someone who has there own van All fuel paid for.
