One for the -ber month Birthdays... 🎃🍂

This was a favourite last year so it's back. Designed using photos of individually photographed flowers and foliage from my garden and Craig Dunain woods.

It was originally inspired by the colour of the leaves on our cherry tree. They turn a very vibrant orange - perfect for a pumpkin! 😁

This sunflower card is finally having a wee moment... 🌻☺️

Sometimes I'll start to doubt a design when it hasn't sold (it happens!), but timing is also important and this one was probably released a teeny bit too early.

Relieved to say it's done very well in recent weeks. A good choice for late summer and autumn birthdays!

We didn't grow any sunflowers this year. I had plenty seeds but ended up totally overwhelmed and short of space with all of the other flowers I was growing so they got forgotten about! 🫣 I'd love to see how you got on with yours if you managed to grow them this year! 🌻

It’s not just bees enjoying the cosmos flowers! Not long after saying I hadn’t seen many butterflies this year, I was greeted by a lovely wee Painted Lady this afternoon 🦋

Some of my plants are fading now, which makes me a bit sad, especially because a couple of my cosmos plants didn’t bloom at all 😂 they’ve just grown super tall and chonky!

I’ll definitely try growing them again next year though. The amount and variety of bees they attract was worth it! 💕 Hopefully I’ll see more butterflies next year too…

Was it just me, or did anyone else notice there weren’t as many this year?

We’re celebrating Callie on International Dog Day 🐾
Our old girlie has been unwell this past couple of months so we are grateful for each day where she’s still her cheeky self. She needs to take it easy these days but she can still bowl you over if you’re in the way of her food! 😂

That time of year again…
Since I was a kid, I’ve found it hard to resist walking past a horse chestnut tree without taking some conkers home. 🙃

I pass this tree often as it’s close to my house, and these were all just waiting on the ground for me…

I don’t even know why I do it…I don’t play conkers. I just like opening them and it reminds me of being wee. Now I can use the excuse that I use them for my work. Which is true! You’ll see some of last year’s conkers in my recent squirrel design and my pumpkin card. 🎃

Anyone else collect conkers as a kid? Bonus points if you still do, because it makes me feel less weird. 😂

Lots of cards! The squirrel and fox were clear winners 😁 Closely followed by the hedgehog and sunflower birthday card. 🌻

It’s great feedback seeing everyone’s choices. I have a few cards that I’ve never really sold online that do well in-person. Always interesting!
