I’m delighted to share the new online store I recently created for 5th Avenue Fashions in Ilkley.

As a Shopify Partner, I provide complete Shopify store setup and design, creating websites that reflect each business while being straightforward for the client to manage.

For 5th Avenue, I:

🖥️ Designed and built their Shopify store from scratch
✨ Created a bespoke homepage tailored to their requirements
📱 Optimised the website for desktop, tablet and mobile
🛍️ Set up and organised their product collections
🏷️ Coded bespoke pages to showcase their different fashion brands
🖼️ Made it easy for the team to change their hero images each season
🎥 Produced a step-by-step guide and training videos so they can confidently manage the store themselves

I spend a third of my week working on projects with Ilkley Business Improvement District and one of my latest projects for their Discover Ilkley website has been creating a dedicated campaign page for the Ilkley Creative Arts & Culture Month this September.

The page brings together local exhibitions, theatre, live music, workshops, competitions, special experiences and offers, alongside a showcase of Ilkley’s creative businesses.

I designed and built the page in WordPress, as well as creating and curating much of the content. With so much information to include, the challenge was to give everything a clear structure while keeping the page colourful, engaging and easy to explore across desktop, tablet and mobile.

It’s been a lovely project to work on and a great example of how thoughtful web design can turn a busy programme of changing content into one useful campaign hub.

I am so proud of our team. We poured our hearts into the Yorkshire Day project last year, and seeing it recognised today feels amazing. I’m lucky to work with such a talented, hardworking group of people.

In the press this week: Announcing the launch of the new Ilkley Community Network website.

I am incredibly proud to have designed and built this new platform. While the main Discover Ilkley website is the go-to for business, hospitality, and tourism, the Ilkley Community Network has a different mission: it is built specifically for our residents and voluntary organisations.

Ilkley has a massive voluntary sector, but the biggest hurdle for residents is often just knowing these groups exist. I’ve built this platform to be the central "hub" where residents and organisations can easily find one another in one easy-to-use directory.

This week I created a sleek new one-page website for the fantastic Inspire and Connect Women In Business Networking Group! 💻✨

Anna Clewlow provided a brilliant mock-up created in Canva , and with the stunning photographs taken by the incredibly talented Heidi Marfitt Photographer, I had the pleasure of transforming her vision into a fully functional website in just a couple of days. It's amazing what we can create when clients come prepared with such clear direction! 🙌

For this one-page site, I’ve implemented seamless navigation links to different sections, ensuring users can easily find all the info they need. Plus, I integrated her Instagram feed, so visitors can stay updated with the latest posts right on the website! 📸
