Beauty with a little more character.

NICHE | Cosmetic Collective brings together a collective of independent cosmetic treatment specialists in a beautifully refurbished 200-year-old stone cottage in Honley.

In our brand creation for this new business, our challenge was to balance medical-grade expertise with something warmer and more inviting.

We used elegant typography, generous space and a palette of dark chalk, clay, stone, n**e and ivory. Everything has a soft, tactile quality, helping the brand feel considered without becoming clinical.

It’s a quieter take on beauty, with plenty of personality in the luxurious detail.

A brand made for a place that was made for making.

makersmillcookeryschool is a cookery school and craft workshop set within a former mill. In creating the branding, we took inspiration from the building itself, using strong graphic forms, layered textures and a distinctive monogram that feels as though it could have been stamped, cast or pressed into the mill.

There’s a roughness to the identity, but also a warmth. A nod to the building’s industrial past and the making that happens there today.

It also sits comfortably alongside Devour, its sister restaurant next door, while having a character of its own.

Picture Smiths picked up some charcoals and started drawing. ✍️

For Norman’s Neighbourhood Kitchen, we wanted the typography to have some provenance. Something made by hand rather than something designed to look handmade.

Each letter of the bespoke wordmark was created individually, giving the typography its own quirks, inconsistencies and character. You can see the hand in it, and that was the point.

The rest of the identity follows suit. Inky navy, khaki, soft pink and vivid blue sit alongside a collection of stamps that feel found, pressed and reused.

It’s a little rough around the edges, full of character and not too serious. Just how Norman’s likes it.

We’ve been exploring creative concepts for a beautiful new book we’re designing, a learning and reflection journal rooted in Pilates and movement.

The concept is curious, intentional and personal, with a calming, natural palette and a tactile feel.

We’re really looking forward to seeing this project take shape over the coming weeks.

We’ve loved working with LAURA MAY BRIDAL on their brand refresh, building on what already makes the business special and shaping a more modern, elevated direction for the future.

We’ve moved beyond simply “come and buy a wedding dress” and create a brand that says come and be part of something.

Think fashion-led, editorial and lifestyle-focused, with a warm and welcoming personality, alongside experiences and details that make every bride feel part of the Laura May story.

From a softer, signature colour palette to editorial imagery, considered touchpoints and the beginnings of a whole new brand world, this is bridal with a little more attitude.

We’re so excited to see where Laura May takes it next. 🤎

From field to farm shop, and now to a new online home… we’ve been working with Bolster Moor Farm Shop to bring their new website to life 🚜

The project covered brand strategy and web design, alongside photography, video and Yorkshire-flavoured copy. A proper full team effort!

The result is a bold, easy-to-use website with plenty of Bolster Moor character, including the option to buy gift vouchers online.
