Just finished a little project on this 2011 iMac. According to Apple, this computer is "obsolete" and hasn't been supported for years. It was stuck on old software, sluggish, and basically ready for the tip.
The Fix:
Instead of letting it become e-waste, I upgraded the internals and used a specialized patch (OpenCore) to force it to run the latest version of macOS.
The Result:
It now runs the newest apps, has the latest security updates, and feels snappy again.
Why spend £1,500+ on a new machine when your old one might just need a professional tune-up?
If you have an older iMac or MacBook gathering dust in a cupboard because it's "too old," drop me a message. I love bringing these machines back to life for a fraction of the cost of buying new.
