This is an opportunity for an individual to join a growing IT company based in Hoylake, Wirral.

We are looking for an individual, to carry out a range of duties from telephone customer support through to excel, word along with email and general office duties.

Some of the work is specialised & complex, but full and detailed in-house training is provided.

The opportunity also exists for successful applicants to take industry qualifications at the company's expense.

During a normal working day, you will:

• Answer incoming telephone and email enquiries
• Provide support to our existing customers
• Deal with enquiries from new and potential customers
• Act as a first point of contact for visitors to the office
• Ensure that the general office area is kept clean and tidy
• Sort incoming and outgoing mail
• Manage customer invoicing and payment processing
• Validate any new customers.
• Set up customers within existing procedures
• Data processing with software such as Excel

The primary roles of the position will involve:

• Use of companies own extensive web platform
• Use of Microsoft Outlook to manage emails
• Use of Microsoft Word to produce documents and letters
• Use of Microsoft Excel to manipulate spreadsheet data
• Using our telephone system to make and receive phone calls
• Use of our invoicing system to manage invoices and record payments
• Use of other internal and external software and services
• Efficient time management skills to ensure that work is completed independently, efficiently and on-time
• Use of Asana application to organise and record your current tasks
• Anti-money laundering
• Regulatory compliance
• Knowledge with Xero a distinct advantage but training is provided

The main part of the business involves anti-money laundering tools and services, as such a good understanding of AML or regulatory compliance would be extremely useful, though not mandatory as again, full training will be given.

A good aptitude to new technologies will be essential, as the business does most of its trading on and around online platforms.

As staff are dealing with data provided by clients, a high degree of competence and absolute discretion is required.

Please note salary quoted is based on age and experience. Salary will be reviewed once the applicant is suitably trained and competent within the role.

The app is designed to scan documents such as passports and driving licences which can then be stored, reprinted or sent elsewhere, while client documents can be prepopulated with the scanned data.
