I've been using this spell of bad weather to upload some new products to the website. I really enjoy sourcing from small independent artists and makers. The newest additions to the shop are these stunning prints from luxurious candles from Paris handmade by and the stunning homewares from
Smells of the Mediterranean as well as the colours of southern Spain that I love and know so well make me feel so nostalgic - I can't wait to be there again some time soon.

Who else is loving this sunny weather? This gorgeous new print from is brightening up the shop. Meg paints and illustrated with so much life and energy I just couldn't resist stocking a collection of her work. I'll be adding them to the website later today too.

I've spent most of the day buying new stock for the shop and been adding colour to new products. I love the simplicity of the natural shades and tones but I'm also a huge fan of colour in interiors. Check out the beautiful art work from - her work reminds of being in Seville and Andalusia which is exactly where I want to be now! How's everyone's productivity this week? Last week was a shambles for me. Not sure if it was the colder weather but this sunnier week is definitely making me feel more proactive. I've managed to photograph these lovely earrings and got most of them online but if there's something you see that hasn't quite made it to the website just let me know and I can post them out.

Tomorrow's agenda has a sea swim, supermarket shop, some home schooling and a BBQ so should be a good one. I'm really not sure how I'm going to make it back to 'normal' life once the lockdown has completely lifted!

Even though home schooling was never on my bucket list, the thought of this little monkey going back to school makes my heart sink. Amongst the squabbles, relentless tidying, cleaning and cooking have been some of the most memorable and precious moments I think I'll ever get with my daughter. Is anyone else in two minds about sending kids back to school next month?

Just a quick mug shot to say hello as I'm missing your lovely faces in the shop. This is the longest time I've had away from the shop since opening seven years ago and the thing I miss the most is the daily interaction with customers, friends, regulars, suppliers etc etc. It's amazing how quickly and effectively people have managed to turn their businesses online and make a success out of such a crazy time but nothing beats a face to face conversation. Hopefully it won't be long 'til we meet again!
