🏆😎 WE HAVE A WINNER! 📸

The Penton Summer Snaps competition has officially come to an end — and we have our favourite summer snap!

A huge congratulations to Natalie Rajkoomar! 🎉

Their photo, featuring our Penton sunglasses, caught our eye and took the top spot — and they’ve won a UK weekend break! 🏨✨

Thank you to everyone who got involved, took their Penton sunnies along for the ride and shared their summer adventures with us. We’ve loved seeing where those shades have ended up! 😎☀️

Congratulations again to our winner — enjoy your break away! 🥂

And who knows… perhaps we’ll need to do this again next summer? 👀

😑 You might not notice PAVA — but you’ll notice when it’s needed.

From transport hubs and shopping centres to stadiums, schools, hotels and public buildings, PAVA helps keep people informed when it matters.

Different settings. Different challenges.
One important job: making sure the message gets through. 🔊

Where have you come across PAVA without realising it? 👀

📢 What if the amplifier was already inside the horn?

Meet the PH20A-24 — a weatherproof active horn speaker with an integrated 20W Class-D amplifier.

And that built-in amplification can make a real difference to installation.
Connect it to a CCTV camera or other device with a line output, and you can have audio without needing separate control equipment.

That means:
🔌 Less equipment
🧵 Less cabling
⚙️ A simpler installation

It's also IP56 weatherproof, has an internal volume control and is designed specifically for speech and demanding audio applications.

Plus, if standard light grey isn't quite right for the project, it can be finished in a bespoke colour using our speaker painting service. 🎨

Small footprint. Built-in amplification. A surprisingly practical solution.

🔧 Imagine the rack arriving on site already one step ahead…

That’s the thinking behind our Rack-Build Service.

Our engineers build, configure and test PA and EN54 Voice Alarm racks in-house, tailored to the project requirements. Pre-programming and testing can be completed before delivery, with FAT and SAT available where required.

Less time figuring it out on site. More time getting the project moving. 👌

Confused about which horn loudspeaker you may need?

💡 We have a range of PA, VA, PoE and active horns available depending on the project requirement. In this video we show the difference between our APH EN54 certified, plastic weatherproof horn and the MSH EN54 certified, plastic weatherproof music horn.

The APH horn is great for:
☑️ Installations that require speech and signal warnings,
☑️ Where EN54-24 certification is required for voice alarm and evacuation
☑️ For external areas

The MSH music horn is required when:
☑️ Enhanced music playback is required
☑️ You need a non-corrosive external horn that is resistant to salt laden air, also suitable for indoor applications
☑️ Where EN54-24 certification is required for voice alarm and evacuation

Please contact us if you would like more details for any of our horns or speakers.

🔊 Need an aesthetically pleasing, weather resistant speaker that offers a very wide frequency range designed to give clear speech and music?

That's where column speakers come into their own.

And the Penton MCS range takes that idea a step further.

📏 MCS20T/ENC — 20W
📏 MCS40T/ENC — 40W
📏 MCS80T/ENC — 80W
🌐 MCS20-IPBX-KIT — bringing PoE network audio into the range

The MCS series uses multiple drivers to provide wide horizontal and controlled vertical coverage, great for challenging acoustic environments.

And with EN54-24 options available, the range can suit a variety of public address and voice alarm applications.

Different power levels. Different technologies. One column speaker family.

👀 Which MCS would you put to work on your next project?

🔊 When people need to hear it, quality matters.

A good PAVA system isn't just about making announcements louder.

It needs to deliver clear, intelligible and reliable communication — whether you're guiding people through a busy building or delivering critical instructions in an emergency.

A cleverly configured system is key - because when the message matters, being heard clearly matters too.

That’s the point of a quality PA/VA system.

🔍 The difference is often in the detail.

With bespoke projects, it’s not just about finding the right equipment — it’s about understanding the requirements behind it and making sure every part of the solution works together.

That’s where Penton Project Services add value.

From the initial requirements through to system design, equipment selection and project delivery, we pay close attention to the practicalities that make a difference: building layout, zoning, coverage, system configuration, equipment selection, integration and compliance requirements.

From the first requirement to the final system, the detail matters.
