Important update for Windows device users.

A newly found issue, called YellowKey, may allow someone with physical access to a device to access data, even if it is protected.

There is no official fix yet, so it is important to take simple security precautions. Keep devices safe, do not leave them unattended, and report any loss straight away.

Modern Networks is working behind the scenes to protect our customers and will share updates as soon as we have them.

Huge congratulations to and everyone involved in delivering such a brilliant GHH Cup26 👏

The event raised over £27.5k for Garden House Hospice Care, more than three times last year’s total, and is an incredible achievement and a real testament to the power of community, sponsors, and supporters coming together for a great cause.

From the organisation and energy on the day to the wider media and social coverage that followed, it’s clear how much work went into making the event such a success.

Proud that Modern Networks could play a small part as one of the event sponsors, and massive credit to Roger and the wider team for creating something so impactful. Already looking forward to seeing this grow even further next year.

Hitchin Town FC have been promoted from the Southern League Central Division after a dramatic 2-1 win over rivals Biggleswade FC in the play-off final.

A Day to Remember: GHH Charity Football Match

On 19 April 2026, Hitchin Town FC hosted the GHH Charity Football Match, organised by Roger Levett in memory of his father, David. Played in brilliant sunshine and backed by an incredible crowd, the day brought people of all ages together to support the vital work of Garden House Hospice Care.

Thanks to the generosity of everyone involved, more than £27,000 was raised, far exceeding last year’s total. The impact is already being felt beyond the pitch, with new walking football teams forming and local schools continuing the conversation around hospice care and community support.

It was a moving, uplifting day built on generosity, pride and togetherness. We were proud to support the event in a small way and even prouder of what was achieved for such an important local charity.

Modern Networks announced as the newest sponsor of Hitchin Town FC

It’s with great pride that we can today announce that locally managed IT company Modern Networks will be sponsoring, not only the men’s, but the women’s Hitchin Town FC teams going into next season. Having opened their first office in the town in 2004, the Managed Service Provider has been a great advocate for grass roots sports in the town with Managing Director, James Tizzard, being a season ticket holder.

On the importance of the sponsorship, Tizzard commented “It’s a great pleasure to be able to sponsor the Hitchin Town FC teams going into their new season. As a resident and Hitchin Town supporter for many years, it means a great deal that Modern Networks can sponsor local organisations just like this that contribute to building not only a stronger community but supporting grass roots football in our area. The team at Modern Networks and I wish the club and all of it’s teams all the best for the upcoming season”

Since 1865, the affectionately named ‘Canaries’ have played at Top Field against teams from across the South from Barnet to Bristol Rovers. Now with a women's and a youth team, the club has been Southern League winners twice and supports a range of local charities.

On what the sponsorship means to the club, Paul Sprague, Vice Chairman, Hitchin Town FC said “The support of the local business community is so important to us. We are delighted that Modern Networks have joined us as a key sponsor and taken up several opportunities to showcase their brand to the thousands of Hitchin Town FC supporters coming through the gates of Top Field each season and following our digital content online. Not only will supporters see the Modern Networks logo adorning the women's playing kit and the men's training kits in the new season, but fans can also catch glimpses of their brand throughout the stadium.
