We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Mats Karlsson.

Mats was a valued member of our team and the co-founder of StageSmarts, a product that has lit countless stages. His engineering skill, curiosity and commitment to getting the details right left a lasting mark on our company and on the wider entertainment lighting industry.

Inspiring the next generation of industry talent!

Our External Sales Manager, Ben Taylor, dropped by Leeds City College recently to welcome the new cohort of creative arts degree students at the Quarry Hill Campus - fittingly hosted inside the Chroma-Q Theatre.

Ben introduced the students to AC-ET, handed out some essential tech swag, and shared how our sponsorship programme supports their studies throughout the year - from hands-on masterclasses with industry pros and tutorial sessions to supplying gear for their assessed performances.

We’re proud to partner with a local educational institution and help nurture the future lighting, audio, and production pros of our industry.

Wishing all the new students the best of luck with their degrees!
