With the 2026 FIFA World Cup now underway, I thought it would be interesting to look back at how World Cup logo design has evolved over the years.

From Uruguay 1930 through to the 2026 tournament, each identity reflects the design styles, cultural influences and branding trends of its time.

Which World Cup logo do you think is the best?

My pick is probably Mexico 70.

Recent project: Adlington Bark Park

This project included logo design, brand identity development, website design, and signage for a private dog exercise and agility field in Cheshire.

The aim was to create a friendly, memorable brand that would work consistently across every customer touchpoint, from the website through to on-site signage.

Logo Design • Website Design • Signage Design

ARROW DRILLING LTD
Brand Identity Concept

A brand identity concept that I developed for a borehole drilling and site investigation contractor, exploring how a strong industrial brand can be applied consistently across vehicles, equipment, site offices, PPE and signage.

The identity centres around a custom arrow symbol representing direction, precision and drilling depth, supported by a bold, high-visibility visual system designed for use across a wide range of real-world applications.

Always interesting to see how a brand performs once it leaves the screen and starts working in the field.

What do you think?

Really enjoyed working with Hill House Ceramics to create their brand identity recently.

The client was keen to portray a strong connection to the earth where clay comes from, inspired by their tagline: 'Every vessel has a spirit keeper and holds the secrets and whispers of the earth.'

Organic patterns and a path through the landscape represent the journey from earth to vessel.

✨ Brand Identity Reveal: Rhubarb 131 ✨

I’m excited to share the brand identity I created for Rhubarb131, a new restaurant opening soon in Chesterfield. This exciting new spot will be serving traditional English dishes with a modern twist, and the brand identity was designed to capture that perfect balance between heritage and contemporary style.

Every element — from the logo and colour palette to typography and playful leaf motif — was carefully crafted to reflect the restaurant’s personality: rooted in tradition, yet fresh, contemporary, and a little playful. The goal was to create a visual identity that feels welcoming, approachable, and full of character, setting the tone for the dining experience before guests even step through the door.

And working on the menu design around lunchtime? Let’s just say it definitely got the tummy rumbling… 😋

Pantone’s Autumn/Winter 2025 palette blends earthy warmth with bold statement shades — from grounding Mocha Mousse to vibrant Poppy Red.

We’re taking inspiration from these tones to bring fresh, seasonal energy into our creative work. Whether it’s branding, packaging, or digital design, colour tells the story.

Which of these shades would you love to see in your next project?
