Where does it all go? One big shop somehow turns into "there's nothing to eat" just a few days later 😂

Another HBD Appliances testimonial has just come in! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Tina called it "Superior service from start to finish".

She also thanked Jason, Chips and Nick for being so helpful throughout, with a special mention for Jason who made sure the kitchen cupboard door was fitted correctly after the installation.

Thank you for your lovely testimonial, Tina!

We have some big news to share! 🎉

On 4th October 2026, after more than 40 years trading as Herne Bay Domestics, we officially became HBD Appliances.

It's an emotional moment for all of us. We first opened our doors on Herne Bay High Street back in 1984, and we wouldn't be here without every one of you who has trusted us with your appliances along the way.

HBD still stands for Herne Bay Domestics, and our roots will always be right here in Herne Bay. But we've grown a lot over the years, and we now deliver, install and repair appliances for customers across a much wider area. We noticed our old name sometimes made people think we only served the local community, so we decided it was time for a name that reflects how far we've come.

Our brand new logo was designed with the help of Andrew's eldest daughter, Bethany Mayes, which makes it even more special to the whole family. We hope you love it as much as we do! 💛

New name, same family and the same friendly team you know. Let us know what you think of the new look in the comments! 👇
