Sometimes the website can do the talking. 🤍⁠

One of my favourite parts of designing a website is bringing together all the little details — beautiful imagery, typography, colour, spacing and content — until everything just feels right.⁠
⁠
But behind the pretty design, I'm always thinking about how someone will actually use it.⁠
⁠
Can they immediately understand what you do?⁠
Can they find what they're looking for?⁠
Does it feel like your business?⁠
And, most importantly, does it make them want to take the next step?⁠
⁠
Because beautiful is lovely.⁠
⁠
Beautiful AND useful is even better.⁠
⁠

Because more visitors won't necessarily mean more enquiries.⁠
⁠
If someone lands on your website and can't quickly work out what you do, where to go next or why they should choose you… they're probably going to leave.⁠
⁠
And suddenly the problem isn't your ads — it's what happens **after the click**.⁠
⁠
A few small changes to your homepage, calls to action and customer journey can make a huge difference.⁠
⁠
**Fix the journey first. Then send people to it.**⁠
⁠

I definitely didn’t plan on becoming a website designer… 😂⁠

It actually started with my own bridal makeup business. I wanted a website that looked beautiful, could be found on Google and, most importantly, actually brought me enquiries.⁠
⁠
Somewhere along the way I became slightly obsessed with websites, branding and SEO… and one website turned into another, then another.⁠
⁠
Now I get to run two businesses I genuinely love. 🤍⁠
⁠
And I think being part of the wedding industry myself gives me a slightly different perspective when I’m designing for other wedding and creative businesses.⁠
⁠
I understand that your website doesn’t just need to look pretty — it needs to attract the right people, showcase what makes you different and make it easy for them to enquire.⁠
⁠
Although obviously… I still want it to look pretty too. 😂⁠
⁠
