India's Aditya-L1 solar observatory has helped scientists to predict the timing of a coronal mass ejection (CME), with the finding described as "crucial for the world".

By helping scientists precisely estimate the time a CME begins and its direction of travel, the spacecraft's onboard coronagraph could help protect space- and Earth-based power and communications infrastructure in the future.

We’re proud to have provided communications support for the mission, alongside our friends at ESA, since its launch last year.

Congratulations Intuitive Machines on making history! 🎉

Not only did IM-1 achieve the first successful commercial Moon landing, but the data from its scientific payloads will pave the way for humankind's return. We're thrilled that our expertise and assets were able to support this pioneering endeavour!

The IM team have just announced that they will be putting the Odysseus lander into hibernation in the coming hours, ahead of the lunar night, but what a farewell-(for now?)-gift these images are! 🌔 👇
