I wonder how many people use Snip and Sketch on their computers? It really is an amazing useful little app. It is included with updated Windows 10! (you might have to look it up in MS Store) It is similar to the Print Screen useful option but far better. Just hold down the Windows key at the same time pressing the Shift key and S key. Once you have pressed Windows + Shift + S, the entire screen dims and, on the top-center area, the snipping bar appears. With the mouse draw out the area you wish to snip and you can paste it in any document! The Clipdiary app is extremely good and works with Snip and Sketch. You can download Clipdiary from the Microsoft Store. When using Snip and Sketch the snipped area is saved by Clipboard for future use!

Another reminder to check you phone's memory regularly and if its too full move photos to either the SD card in your phone, the Cloud facility you use, or download to your computer. Taking photos is lots of fun, but can fill up your phone's storage. Also all pictures you either receive or send on WhatsApp or Messenger are stored on your phone's internal memory, so if your phone is filling up then these need to be moved to a computer, flash or SD card in your phone. Iphones can be backed up to the computer and should be automatically backed up to Cloud!

Either run C-Cleaner or do a Disk Clean up via the properties on C-Drive (right-click on C Drive and go down to properties, press enter and go to Disk Clean-up) Check the files you want deleted, such as temporary files, recycle bin etc. If you have any questions ask below!

Summer is really here and as always passing by too quickly! With cameras at the ready its great to be able to take photos of our activities and holidays. When filing photos its always good to file in folders. I make folders for each month of the year as I take a great many. However you can file them in named holidays, months, areas etc. When downloading to the computer its much better to connect the camera using Windows Explorer to transfer your photos from your camera (or phone) to the folder of your choice. I always name my photos as its easier for searching. You don't need to do them individually, sometimes just 'visit to Chartwell' or 'Exploring Portsmouth' for example is useful for groups of pictures taken, or if you are taken them from the aeroplane or car to ??' is also useful. Spring is on the way so a good time to take out the camera and enjoy photographing spring flowers etc. Don't forget to file them in a folder you will be able to find and refer to. I file mine under the year and then a subfolder for the month ie: 3-March-2019. You can of course rename the files in a batch ie 'Spring flowers in Alexandra Park' ...
