To celebrate the release of 's new album "Inferno", here is a recreation of their classic track ROYGBIV! 🎛️

The iconic bass sound is recreated on the CPM DS-2 and DF-8 as a layered patch. Both Drone sections of the DS-2 are fed into both Filter sections on the DF-8 making a chorus like sound with a wide stereo image. Layered recordings of the Stylophone Beat are used to make the drums punchy and the melancholic tone of the melody is played on the Gen X-2.

This month we’re celebrating drone music!

In a few simple steps learn how to drone with our Portable Analog Synth, the GEN X-2 🎛️

Hold a note on the GEN X-2 Keyboard with the stylus.

With a patch cable plug GATE OUT back into GATE IN

Generate the sound you want by playing around with the LFO and X MOD, OCTAVE SWITCHES & DELAY (DEPTH)

You can tune, by flipping the unit over and experimenting with the k**b underneath or using the Pitch Control K**b as demonstrated in the video.
