Explore one of our recently launched brands – Learn with Ms Lancaster

💼 The brief

Jess is an online English tutor for pupils in the UK and internationally.

She reached out to us via a recommendation from her dad, Steve, who we have previously worked with, to develop a logo for her tutoring business.

As part of her offer, Jess also teaches abroad and wanted a logo that would combine the two.

🎨 The design

From our initial discussion, Jess had played around with an idea: a laptop with a plane coming out of it in a soft pencil image and one continuous line, with a font that is easy to read but also eye-catching.

The business name is ‘Learn with Ms. Lancaster’ and Jess has a slogan of ‘Take off with Tutoring’.

The logo design became designed around a faded stamp you might get in a passport together with a friendly and welcoming font, wrapped within a circle.

And Jess’ feedback was the response that we aim for:

“I love it!! Thank you”

Since our launch in 2017 we have used a simple, single phrase that describes both who we are and what we do:

Driven by purpose. Crafted by creativity.

But this doesn’t dig into why we do what we do. So, we thought we’d share our story to help you get to know us more.

A few years ago, a British American man named Simon Sinek went viral following a talk on he made on millennials in the workplace of today. This got him known by people in the UK and globally; however, this was not the first time we heard of him.

In fact, our founder Michael was lucky to meet him in London back in 2016. Simon had been an inspiration to Michael for years before then after he stumbled across Simon’s TED Talk about the ‘Golden Circle’ from 2009 and he purchased the book, Start With Why.

And when he founded us, Michael sat down to craft our own Golden Circle to best represent what we do and how we do it, and, more importantly, why we do it. So, we thought we’d share it.
