Terms & Conditions – DataCare Solutions
By using the services provided by DataCare Solutions, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before booking any service.
1. Services Provided
DataCare Solutions offers computer repairs, diagnostics, data recovery, performance upgrades, software installation, PDF services, website creation, and other IT-related services as listed on our page.
All services are carried out with care, professionalism, and according to industry standards.
2. Payments
• All prices listed are estimated and may vary depending on the complexity of the issue.
• Payment must be made upon service completion, unless otherwise agreed.
• Accepted payment methods: cash, bank transfer, PayPal, or other methods discussed in advance.
3. Diagnostics & Quotes
• Diagnostic fees may apply, but are often waived if you choose to continue with the repair.
• You will always receive a quote before any repair or upgrade is performed.
• No work will be done without your approval.
4. Data Recovery Disclaimer
• Data recovery success is not guaranteed, as results depend on the condition of the damaged or deleted storage device.
• DataCare Solutions is not responsible for data loss that already exists on the device prior to service.
• Customers are responsible for informing us about any sensitive or important data beforehand.
5. Customer Data & Privacy
• All personal data, files, and information on your device are treated as strictly confidential.
• No files are accessed or copied unless needed for repair or data recovery.
• Devices will not be shared with third parties unless required for specialised services (only with customer approval).
6. Hardware & Parts
• Any replacement parts (SSD, RAM, batteries, etc.) come with a warranty only if provided by DataCare Solutions.
• If the customer provides their own parts, DataCare Solutions is not responsible for defects or incompatibility.
7. Warranty on Services
• Software services (Windows installation, optimisation, PDF work) include a 7-day service warranty.
• Hardware installation and upgrades include a 14–30 day warranty, depending on the part.
• Warranty covers the service performed, not unrelated future issues.
8. Liability
• DataCare Solutions is not responsible for:
damage caused by previous repairs
hardware failure due to age or wear
devices with liquid damage
loss of data not directly caused by our work
• Devices left uncollected for more than 30 days may incur storage fees or be disposed of.
9. Remote Support
• Remote services (via TeamViewer/AnyDesk) are provided at your own risk.
• You must ensure your connection and power supply are stable during remote sessions.
10. Website Services Terms
• Website work begins only after receiving all required content (text, images, domain details).
• Payments for website development may require an upfront deposit.
• Hosting and domain fees are paid by the customer unless agreed otherwise.
• DataCare Solutions is not responsible for downtime caused by third-party hosting providers.
11. Cancellation Policy
• You may cancel a booking at any time before work begins.
• If work has already started, a partial fee may apply.
12. Agreement
By booking or requesting any service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
