🕹️ **THE SNES FAMILY IS ALL HERE!**

We've got some familiar faces, some Japanese exclusives, a few different Super Famicom variants and some hardware that even dedicated Nintendo fans might struggle to identify! 👀

And of course, no proper retro setup would be complete without a good old-fashioned **CRT television** showing off those glorious 16-bit graphics! 📺

🍄 Mario
⚔️ Zelda
🦖 Yoshi
🏎️ Mario Kart
🥊 Street Fighter II

The SNES era gave us some truly unforgettable gaming memories.

But here's where things get interesting…

🏆 **THE GAMESAVE SNES CHALLENGE!**

🔍 **HINT #1:** Not everything in this photo was originally sold in the UK.

🇯🇵 **HINT #2:** Some of these machines were made specifically for the Japanese market.

🏨 **HINT #3:** One piece of hardware has a connection to Nintendo gaming outside the traditional home console market.

📺 **HINT #4:** Look closely at the CRT — there's more going on here than just a standard SNES game!

⭐ **BONUS CHALLENGE:** Can you identify the different Super Nintendo and Super Famicom systems, accessories and unusual variants in this collection?

💬 **HOW MANY CAN YOU NAME?**

Drop your answers in the comments! 👇

And while you're here…

❤️ **What was YOUR favourite SNES game of all time?**

At **GAMESAVE**, retro gaming isn't just nostalgia — it's a passion. We love preserving, repairing and celebrating the hardware that helped make gaming what it is today.

And that's just a small part of his incredible legacy! ❤️

What makes Miyamoto so special isn't simply the characters he's helped create — it's his approach to game design.

Fun first. Creativity always. And games that anyone can enjoy.

From those first arcade adventures to the incredible worlds we explore today, his influence is everywhere. 🎮

🎮🤯 GAMING STRANGE FACTS: FINAL FIGHT 🤯🎮

Here’s one for the retro gamers…

Did you know Final Fight was originally being developed as a sequel to Street Fighter? 👀

Following the success of Street Fighter II—wait, there’s a twist in the history here. The project that became Final Fight actually predates Street Fighter II. During development it was conceived as a follow-up to the original Street Fighter, under the working title Street Fighter ’89.

But rather than becoming another one-on-one fighting game, the concept evolved into something very different…

👊 Side-scrolling action
🏙️ Streets packed with enemies
💥 Co-op beat ’em up gameplay
🕹️ And the introduction of characters including Cody, Guy and Haggar

The result was Final Fight, released in arcades in 1989 — a game that would become one of Capcom’s defining beat ’em ups and launch a series of its own.

And the Street Fighter connection didn't disappear completely. Over the years, the two worlds would cross paths again, with Final Fight characters eventually appearing throughout the wider Street Fighter universe. 🔥

⭐ GAMESAVE STRANGE FACTS

We love uncovering the strange stories, abandoned ideas and unexpected connections hiding behind some of gaming's biggest names.

💬 Did you already know this one?

And more importantly…
