Glasgow, we're live. 🧡

OrderUp is a local ordering platform for this town's independent takeaways. Built by food workers for the industry, our 4% platform fees leaves more money in the kitchens hands. Simple as that.

YOUR CUSTOMER PAYS 30% MORE. YOUR RESTAURANT STILL MAKES LESS.

That’s the problem with high platform fees.

A £100 order becomes £130 after a restaurant increases its prices by 30% to cover a 30% platform commission.

Sounds like the restaurant is protected, right?

Not quite.

The platform takes 30% of the full £130 — £39.

The restaurant is left with £91.

So even after charging the customer 30% more, the restaurant has actually lost 9% of the original order value.

Meanwhile, existing platforms can charge up to 9× the platform fee of OrderUp.

That means more money coming out of every meal, every order, every day.

With OrderUp at 4%, that same £100 order leaves the restaurant with £96 — without needing to inflate menu prices just to try to survive the commission.

Lower fees. Fairer for restaurants. More money stays in hospitality.

Every option the big apps give a takeaway is a door that closes on you.

Absorb the fee and your margin goes. Put your prices up and you price yourself out. Step away and you're back to square one. Different handles, same locked room.

That isn't bad luck, it's how the model is built. On those platforms the business grows when you hand over more, so their best year and your worst can be the same year. When someone only wins when you give up more, they were never really on your side.

OrderUp is the one that opens. A 4% platform fee, your own Stripe account at Stripe's rate, nothing added on top. We only do well when your delivery does.

The £143 problem

How does a £100 pickup order pack a £143 delivered charge?

Because a 30% commission is charged on the whole bill, including the 30% price increase the restaurant added to cover it.
That’s a 9% loss created by trying to cover a 30% commission.
To actually receive £100, the customer needs to pay £142.86.

And with customers already watching what they spend, higher prices means fewer orders, while the margin squeeze remains.

OrderUp charges 4%.

Your own Stripe account with Stripe’s processing rate. Nothing added on top.

What would an extra £1,000 a month do for your restaurant?

A little more breathing room?

Help with wages?
A stock order?
A new piece of equipment?
A bit more marketing?
Or simply less pressure on the bottom line?

For a restaurant doing £200,000 in delivery sales, the difference between a 30% platform fee and OrderUp’s 4% is £52,000 a year.

That’s more than £4,300 every month that stays in the business.

And the more you sell, the more you save.

Savings that scale with volume.

OrderUp = delivery built to work for restaurants, not against them.

Imagine opening your dinner to find 20–30% missing.

Ridiculous, right?

But that’s what a BIG DELIVERY fee can look like on the restaurant side.

OrderUp is build by industry for industry. We charge a simple 4% platform fee, helping restaurants save up to 80%.

If 30% missing from your dinner sounds crazy, why is it normal for restaurants?

OrderUp = we deliver full pies.

OrderUp’s 4% fees put control back in your hands.
