P1 | Let's help you get started with a new read!

One of the biggest questions in my comic, graphic novels and bookshop is where do I start!

Everyday the team get asked where do I start with this character, sci-fi and fantasy book series or the massive manga selection.

This is the first video announcing the PnP "Where the book do I start" series and we need your questions to add to the ones we get in the shop.

The latest Absolute Batman graphic novel is here from DC Comics and Volume 3 is going to hit hard!

This alternative universe Batman in which everyone has a different story features a very different Joker, some brutal fight scenes and more twists on the Batman formula.

A remake of this classic 80s classic movie is coming and here is the novelisation of Highlander for anyone who wants a reminder of (how old they are!) the fantastic sci-fi fantasy story.

Back in the 80s/90s when film ratings were taken as a challenge, we'd all be watching the Kurgan (Clancy "Mr Krabs" Brown) and Connor Macleod (Christopher "Raiden" Lambert) battle it out over centuries as immortal warriors with a banging Queen soundtrack, we'd all be chanting There Can Only be One!

This new printing of the Highlander novel, based from the screenplay is a fantastic way to enjoy the story ahead of the remake or just enjoy the fantastic story again.

The apocalypse will be televised and Dungeon Crawler Carl has it's first official cast member as the legend Jeff Hayes as princess donut for the upcoming TV Series.

Did I use this as an opportunity to get more of you to read and talk Dungeon Crawler Carl and recommend the books to you? You got me!

What a movie The Odyssey is, classic grim dark fantasy told in such an epic way. 🍿

I was thinking of some dark fantasy books, graphic novels and manga that fit with the tone of The Odyssey by Christopher Nolan after I watched it this week

So here's my manga, comic and book recommendations if you watched the odyssey and want more grim, dark fantasy making up for the lack of heroes with trauma, heartbreak and morally questionable main characters 😂

Ok Crawlers, there's a long painful wait after the conclusion to the latest book series.

But a new hardback is here to fill the void!

He Who Fights With Monsters finally has physical hardback books in the UK and I'm ready for it!

Some books to sum up what we all went through last night England fans!

I not only got an extra hour of reading in before the England game kicked off (apparently there were storms, who could have predicted that!) but then we watched a team of heroes,

So then, back at Pages N Pixels today, these books sum up what it was like to watch it.

We are of course open today so come celebrate with us and get something heroic or epic after what was a fantastic, late night!
