CMOS battery replacement on a laptop in today. Problem is, to replace the battery, you have to strip the laptop fully so you can take out the motherboard as the battery sits on the underside.... damn designers!

Happy Monday... can't see any blue sky from where I am sitting, but it's bright which is good and doesn't look as if there is any wind about.

Open as this week between 9am and 4pm.

Nice little job on a laptop today. Strip a laptop to replace a keyboard & clean all the dust/reapply thermal paste.

There were more screws holding the keyboard in (and tiny little buggers too) than the total of the case, fans, motherboard etc.

All done and now working as it should.

If you receive a phone call from someone saying they are from Microsoft, Windows or even BT (or any other phone company) and they tell you that you have issues with your computer, DO NOT allow them to take control of your computer. Just put the phone down.

99.99% of the time this will be a scam, and they will want to take control of your computer, change the password/pin number and try to get your bank details as well.

Unless you know the person you are speaking to (and trust them), do not download any software that will allow them to take control of your PC.

Whilst most of the time, the software they get you to download is actually legitimate, what they want to do with it IS NOT!

Wow - Monday again, and currently looking a bit overcast and drizzly... Hey it is summer lol.

Open as normal Monday to Thursday between 9am and 4pm this week, closed on Friday 12th June as have a funeral to go to 🙁

Don't forget that we can build desktop PCs to suit your requirements (and hopefully your budget as well). We can order in new Laptops and also have the ability to get Premium Refurbished ones as well.

We sometimes have our own refurbished Laptops & desktops in stock as well, but can't guarantee availability on those.

Hope everyone had a good bank holiday weekend.

Whilst I love the fact that it's a sunny day, it's a bit warm to be playing inside with computers - but hey, that's what I do lol. 🥵

WOW, Friday again and it's looking like a 'hot one'!

Open between 9am and 4pm (ish) today.

As it's a Bank Holiday on Monday we are not open, but will be bright-eyed and ready to go from 9am on Tuesday.
