Admin Assistant

Location: Amesbury
Contract: Full-time, permanent
Hours: 40hrs p/w (Mon-Fri)
Salary: Dependent on Experience

An admin assistant is responsible for ensuring that an office is organised and that daily tasks are completed efficiently. Admin Assistants have a wide range of duties to complete, and they must be willing to take on extra administrative tasks as and when required by colleagues and managers.

Primary duties and responsibilities include:
- Organising filing systems and office databases
- Scheduling teams meetings
- Responding to questions and requests for information
- Supporting all office staff in a wide range of duties corresponding with their specific role
- Supporting senior management in a wide range of duties

Skills:
- High level organisation
- Excellent communication
- Interpersonal skills
- Confidence to communicate effectively and accurately with a wide range of people, from senior management and CEOs to customers and suppliers
- Ability to accurately transcribe messages and record information over the phone or in person

● Welcoming visitors into the building, organising security clearance and showing them to meetings

Trainee Fibre Engineer

Location: South Wales, Dorset, Eastbourne, Chatham

Salary: Dependant on age

Training is provided

The Role:

This is an opportunity to learn a lifetime skill. Fibre Engineers are a key part of Fibrelay and play a major role in the successful delivery of fibre nodes and trunk routes. They must be physically fit and be able to work in a team and develop excellent working relationships with their peers and management. They must be hard working, punctual, reliable, and well presented as they will be the front of the company to clients and potential customers.
The trainee must be flexible in their approach and the areas that they could be required to work in. They should also be experienced in working within a Health and Safety conscious organisation and have basic knowledge of setting up a safe working environment for themselves, their co-workers, and members of the public.

Responsibilities:

β€’ To always be well presented and punctual whilst at work
β€’ To help with the initial setting up of a safe working environment and ensure that the working area is safely always maintained
β€’ To maintain a tidy site and to remove all rubbish upon completion of each task
β€’ To effectively interact with other team members, managers and existing Fibrelay employees
β€’ To communicate effectively with the client and other workstreams actively engaged in the building of the network
β€’ To provide updates to the team leader regarding progress on any issues encountered

Requirements:

β€’ Physically fit
β€’ Good eyesight and the ability to identify the difference in close matching colours
β€’ Excellent attendance, punctuality, and reliability
β€’ Attention to detail
β€’ Ability to work with Hand Tools
β€’ Willing to learn
β€’ Works well in a team
β€’ Full UK Driving License would be helpful but is not necessary
