Ouuu… clicky 😅

You genuinely can’t beat a good clicky kit. I’ve got one in my own controller and I honestly wouldn’t go back.

We offer clicky kits from £35, or if you’re having TMR sticks fitted at the same time, the clicky upgrade drops to £25.

They make the buttons feel so much more tactile, crisp and responsive it’s actually quite hard to explain until you’ve tried one yourself.

And the sound… 🤌

If you’ve got stick drift or just want an upgrade, here’s what we currently offer for the ps5 duelsense

• Ginfull Hall Effect £25
This is our budget friendly drift fix option hall effect are estimated to last up to 5x longer than standard alps joysticks.

• K-Silver JS13 Pro+ TMR £35
Smooth and light. Great for FPS games and precise aiming.

• K-Silver JS13 Adjustable £40
Adjustable tension. Ideal if you want to choose between a lighter or firmer stick feel with a custom thumb stick design.

• GuliKit TMR £45
Premium all rounder. Smooth, precise and closer to a traditional controller feel, but with premium metal shafts and a premium thumb stick design.

• GuliKit 720° £55
Our adjuatsble premium option. A huge range of adjustable tension, 3 different thumbstick heights and metal shafts for improved durability.

Got more than one issue? We also offer add on repairs, so we can sort multiple faults while your controller is already with us and because were already in your controller it costs less most repairs are £5 each.

And remember replacing a drifting controller with another standard controller means the potentiometers will wear and drift again. TMR removes that worry.

Check out this special edition Fortnite controller that came into us suffering from stick drift.

Our customer opted for our most popular premium upgrade GuliKit TMR joysticks.

As always, we started with a full diagnostic test to make sure there were no other underlying issues. With only the stick drift showing up, we fully stripped the controller down, cleaned it inside and out, removed the faulty ALPS potentiometer modules and replaced them with GuliKit TMRs.

Once reassembled, everything was fully calibrated and tested before heading back to the customer.

I genuinely never get tired of how good GuliKit TMR sticks feel smooth, precise and a massive upgrade over standard potentiometer sticks.

Another controller saved and another happy customer. 😁

We fitted GuliKit 720° TMR joysticks one of the best options available for performance, accuracy, adjustability, and long term protection against stick drift.

These come with a metal stem, adjustable tension, and 3 different thumbstick heights, giving our customer everything they need for a proper premium feel.

Pair that with the see through dark green front shell and grippy rear shell, and this controller feels just as good in the hands as it looks.

We also replaced the LB/RB buttons with HDK clicky switches, fitted a new button
membrane, completed a full internal clean,and replaced the battery after finding the original had started to swell.

A proper service, a serious upgrade, and one stunning custom Elite V2 ready to head back to another happy customer.

What a stunner this turned into!

This Xbox Elite V2 came to us with:

Stick drift
LB/RB buttons not working properly
A damaged shell
Internal subframe damage

So we gave it the full treatment.

Stick drift:
We fitted GuliKit 720° TMR joysticks one of the best upgrades available for performance, accuracy, adjustability and long term protection against stick drift.

These feature a premium metal stem design, a massive range adjustable tension and 3 different thumbstick heights, giving our customer plenty of options to get that perfect premium feel.

LB/RB buttons:
We replaced the original switches with HDK clicky switches and also fitted a brand new button membrane as you can see theirs was well used.

While stripping the controller down, we found part of the RB issue was actually being caused by a snapped internal subframe so rather than bodge it, we replaced the entire subframe too.

Deep clean:
Every button removed, every part stripped down and everything thoroughly scrubbed and cleaned before being rebuilt.

And finally… that shell. 😍

Our customer chose the Cosmic Galaxy front shell paired with a new grippy rear shell and I’m sure they’ll happily vouch for just how good this thing feels in their hands

From a tired, damaged Elite V2 with drift and button issues…

Xbox Elite v2 TMR upgrade

As always, we started with a full diagnostic. Once we’d identified the faults and confirmed everything with the customer, it was time to bring it back to life.

This one received:

Gulikit 720° tension-adjustable TMR joysticks, our premium stick upgrade, while retaining that all important adjustable tension.

Both LB & RB switches replaced with HDK switches sorting another very common Elite V2 failure point.

New button membrane to restore the feel and response of the face buttons.

front shell replacement the original rubber face plate grips had started breaking down, a very common Elite V2 problem, and had deteriorated enough that they were actually beginning to interfere with the LB RB buttons.

The result one very cool looking conroller that has a long life ahead of it.

SPICY PILLOW ALERT!

We’ve had a flurry of Elite V2 controllers through the workshop recently, and this is exactly why we always check the battery whenever we repair or refurbish one.

➡️ Right: one very swollen Elite V2 battery… known as a spicy pillow.

The slightly worrying bit? Quite often the first thing you’ll actually notice isn’t the battery at all.

As it swells, it can start putting pressure inside the controller and one of the first symptoms can be your left analogue stick beginning to grind or feel rough.

So if your Elite 2 suddenly feels a bit strange, don’t ignore it.

At Hume Repair we don’t just replace the obvious faulty part and send it back. We check the controller properly, identify anything else starting to fail and make sure it leaves us working as it should, with moat repairs being treated as add ons rather then full cost repairs as if were already inside the controller it will always cost less to get it fixed now rather than later.
