💚 A massive thank you to everyone who continues to support us! 💚
Running a small family business definitely comes with its challenges. We’ve had more than our fair share of curveballs and hurdles along the way, but we’ve always picked ourselves back up and come back stronger.
Every recommendation, review, message and bit of support genuinely means so much to us. It’s what keeps us going and reminds us why we started in the first place.
We’re proud to be a small, independent business supporting our local communities, and we’ll always do our best to be here when you need a hand with your tech.
If you can, please help us spread the word! Share our page, recommend us to your friends and family, and keep us in mind whenever someone needs a bit of tech help. Those little things make a huge difference to a business like ours.
Thank you for being part of our journey and supporting our little family business. It really does mean the world 💚🖤

🚨 SERVICE UPDATE 🚨

Bit of an unexpected one for us… our car has unfortunately been written off after being dropped by the recovery company while broken down 😩

That means our collection & drop-off service is temporarily on hold while we sort things out. We’re still here and working as normal otherwise — just without the wheels for now!

Thanks for bearing with us and for your continued support 💚🖤

Another day on the workbench…so obviously it’s another PS5 HDMI repair! 😂🧑🏻‍🔧

27/09/2026

Just a Manc, sat at the workbench on a Sunday night taking a PS5 apart… because apparently I don’t know when to stop 😂🔧🎮

After spending the day supporting Outkasts AltClothing over at the North Manchester Alternative Market, tonight’s job: removing a damaged HDMI port and getting the board ready for a new one.

Microscope on, soldering iron hot and another little repair underway 👀

This is the bit you don’t always see — the late nights, the fiddly jobs and the patience that goes into getting your tech fixed properly!

Repair before you Replace 🖤💚

💛 A huge thank you to Jean & John from Shaw! 🩵

They’ve kindly donated their old TV with a built-in DVD player to .

It might be an old bit of tech, but to a family who needs it, it could mean so much. It’s amazing what a difference something you no longer need can make to someone else.

We’ll get it checked over and ready for its next home.

Massive thanks to Jean & John for helping us help others locally. It really does make a difference so please don’t bin it if it could still help someone💛 Give it a second life, keep it out of landfill and help us tackle tech poverty in our communities 🩵

Hey everyone, just a quick note from Ctrl Alt Fix — I was feeling pretty poorly and I'm still recovering, so apologies to anyone I've kept waiting on repairs or replies. I'll be back working tomorrow, just taking things at a steady pace while I get back on my feet, so please bear with me if things are a little slower than usual. Thanks for your patience and understanding!

💛 Our first community shout-out…

We’ve had a request come through from a young mum with triplets who’s looking for a CRT TV with a built-in VHS/video player - can be working potentially repairable.

This one might be a little harder to find, but we’re hoping our community can work its magic… 👀📺

Got one gathering dust? Know someone who might? Give us a shout! 🩵

And please share — you never know who might have one tucked away! 💛

Nathan is feeling under the weather and is taking a well-earned day off the workbench to rest and recover! 🛠️😴

There may be a little delay in replies and repairs, but we’ll be back at it as soon as possible.

Thanks as always for your understanding and support! 💚♻️
