🔧 AUTOMATIC GATE REPAIR – DAMAGED HINGE, REPAIRED & RECOMMISSIONED

This gate had developed a serious fault after the underground hinge became damaged.
Rather than replacing the complete gate system, our engineers carried out a proper repair:

✅ Gate removed to access the damaged hinge
✅ Failed hinge exposed and prepared
✅ Hinge welded securely back into place
✅ Gate refitted and aligned
✅ System recommissioned and tested
✅ Gates back to smooth operation

A fault like this can easily turn into a much bigger repair if it’s left too long. In this case, we were able to repair the existing system and get the gates working properly again without unnecessary replacement.

If your electric gates are dropping, catching, struggling to open, making unusual noises or simply not operating correctly, give EES a call.

🚪 When was the last time your electric gate motor was serviced?

This underground gate motor had built up with leaves, mud and debris, putting extra strain on the mechanism and increasing the risk of faults.

As part of a proper gate service, we can:
Clean out underground motor boxes
Remove leaves, mud and debris

Check drainage and signs of water ingress
Inspect arms, fixings and moving parts
Lubricate where required

Check gate movement and operation
Identify corrosion or wear before it becomes a bigger problem

A small amount of preventative maintenance can make a big difference to the reliability and lifespan of an automatic gate system.
