After having the privilege of working on multiple series with .author it's always exciting when she lands in my inbox - even if we now have shared trauma from printers 😂🥹

When we started a cover for Silhouette, I never in a million years thought the books that followed would turn out as pretty as Book One, but Marionette really hit some level of satisfaction to me.

Had an absolute blast bringing .field.author's debut cover to life.
The cover is littered with easter eggs from the crow and fire elements to the playing cards, and all the way to slightly glimpse of the Australia outback in the background.

The Burn Card is littered with all of the good tropes, too - enemies-to-lovers, found family, small town and even embedded dark romance 👏

Contemporary romance but make it angsty! ☝️
