If you know anyone who receives PERX magazine, I would reccomend they check their bank accounts for payments to "easylife" for £18.50 per month, immediately.

This relates to a "club" that people are sighed up to without knowledge or consent.

I was with and elderly lady today who discovered this company has been taking £18.50 per month for over two years.....

The company also goes by "the rewards club" "premier offers direct"

They send a catalogue which in itself is legal and all above board, but then the club membership starts. So its very important to keep track of payments from your account after talking to someone on the telephone.

They're clearly taking advantage of elderly people who may not be using online banking or banking apps, which would make discovery of these transactions much easier.

Just had a text from this number
07939935894
Claiming to be PayPal. Its a fake message.
It asks to click on a link to update terms and conditions otherwise account will be suspended.
The link they provided was not to any PayPal site, it was to a site simply called "terms" followed by a page reference.
If you get this block the number.
Its fake.

With the Covid-19 pandemic keeping us home, and the news telling us of government support I wasn't surprised to see a new batch of fake government tax emails arriving.
The emails look genuine but are fake, if they are offering money to you it's always fake.
Never click on the attachment in these or any email supposedly from the tax people, its always a virus.
The tax people never send attachments, any messages will be under you online account via the .Gov website.
Also remember to block the sender as well.
I hope this helps prevent any more grief to my Facebook friends.

If you see a post on your feed that asks to copy and paste text, DONT DO IT! all web based text is created using code, this code is hidden, and can contain instructions that keep the creator in the loop when the text is shared.
Its always Spam. Avoid.

Watch out for a fake ee text saying they cannot process your last payment.
It all looks legit till you see the web address is not ee, its ac-ee.count. so beware. I used another device ice to verify my account was up to date.
Then blocked the number and restart phone.

With windows 7 support ending on 14th of January, any PC still running windows 7 is on borrowed time, security will be vulnerable even if you pay for anti virus.
It may be possible to still upgrade your PC to windows 10 without buying the operating system. I have upgraded many systems recently with very positive results.
