Did you know today is both AND ??? 🤔
We are so passionate about serving our community and we engage with those struggling with mental health AND homelessness EVERY day. ❤️❤️❤️
We provide a range of mental health support services that are unique to our county including a mental health drop in that runs every evening of the year including Christmas Day! 🎄🫶
We also provide a safe space for those struggling with homelessness that can be with us between 10am to 10pm, we also provide when we can a meal, because these are basic human rights and missing shelter and food is awful. 😞😢💔
This is where we need your help, please consider especially on this day, donating to our fundraiser where the donations go toward a meal for someone who is struggling. https://localgiving.org/fundraising/gifts-for-good

Volunteer at The Cavern – Build Skills, Gain Experience & Make a Difference ✨

The Cavern is a mental health charity offering a range of volunteering opportunities to suit different interests and schedules, with morning, afternoon and evening roles available. No previous experience is needed, our volunteering roles are designed to help you build confidence, learn new skills and gain valuable experience with support from our team. ✨

In the Cavern, volunteers can get involved with cleaning, making coffee, supporting the day-to-day running of the space and learning new skills through our volunteer training programme, with a reward when training is successfully completed.

We also have volunteer opportunities in our kitchen, where volunteers can support with general cleaning and learn alongside our kitchen team.

For those who are looking for something other than cafe work, our Adult Support volunteering takes place from 6–10pm and includes helping with cleaning and planning activities.

We are particularly looking to welcome volunteers who are able to support us during the evenings, but there are opportunities throughout the day. Whether you’re looking to gain experience, develop new skills, build confidence or simply give something back, The Cavern is a supportive place to start your volunteering journey..

❤️
