🚀 Another busy week for the Progression AV team!

It’s been a week of getting stuck into a bit of everything across Scotland.

💻 We completed two new Microsoft Teams Rooms, delivering Yealink solutions for Driver Reviews and TC Young Solicitors — providing reliable, professional meeting spaces built for seamless hybrid working.

🎛️ Then it was back to our friends at Abbeyhill Baptist Church, where we installed their new Allen & Heath digital mixing console and delivered a training session to get the team confident and ready to use their new system.

📋 And in between installations and training, we’ve been out and about carrying out a number of site surveys, planning the next round of projects already in the pipeline.

A busy week, but plenty more to come! 💪

Another Magnitude Festival wrapped! 🎉

Well, another Magnitude Festival has come to a close, and we couldn’t be more delighted to continue our support of this incredible event.

Once again, Progression AV were on the ground mixing Front of House, deploying our Allen & Heath Avantis console alongside our Waves processing rig to give us plenty of additional control and flexibility across the system.

FE Live supplied the main PA system, including DX32s with Prime Input Cards, d&b audiotechnik XSL line array, XSL, SL-Series subs and Y10s as rear delays. The system also made use of d&b ArrayProcessing, giving us comprehensive control and consistency throughout the venue.

On the RF side, FE Live supplied a Shure Axient system, paired with KSM and Beta 87 capsules, while Progression AV supplied a comprehensive microphone package, including Earthworks Drum Microphones.

On monitors, .kenny94 was behind the desk, mixing from an Allen & Heath S7000 and deploying Sennheiser SR 2050-series wireless IEMs to keep the performers connected and confident throughout the event but also provided full Multi-Track recording.

We also deployed a Dante network to further enhance and simplify the distribution of audio feeds for video and presentation playback — making the overall system cleaner, more flexible and easier to manage.

A huge thank you to the entire Production Team, who once again pulled out all the stops to make the event happen. There is an incredible amount of work that goes on behind the scenes to make an event like this run so smoothly, and we’re genuinely grateful to be part of it.

It’s an absolute joy and a privilege to support Magnitude Festival — a truly wonderful and special event. ❤️

Well, it’s been a full-on here at Progression AV!

We’re incredibly proud to have completed the finishing touches on our largest project to date at Cnoc Soilleir. It’s been a fantastic journey, and we’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who helped make it possible.

A special mention goes to Catherine, the Project Manager Cnoc Soilleir Fiona from , David and the team from ,our brilliant team of freelancers Solotech UK Group, for their expertise, support and professionalism throughout. We genuinely couldn’t have done it without you all.

There hasn’t been much time to catch our breath either! We’ve also been busy installing a new projection system at ,Baptist Union of Scotland for the Canopy Conference, once again supporting the fantastic Melrose Book Festival, and it was a real pleasure to be behind the mixing console for the excellent Allan McKinlay Music and Friends.

A huge thank you to all our clients, partners and everyone who continues to put their trust in Progression AV. It’s a privilege to work on such a diverse range of projects, and we’re excited for what’s next!

We’ve been a bit quiet on social media recently… but that’s because it’s been a busy few weeks here at Progression AV! 👀🎛️🔊

Here’s a little of what we’ve been up to recently:

📍 Arc Marquees
Installing a new video conferencing solution

📍 Tilly Baptist
Installation of a new Allen & Heath SQ5 console and digital stage box, followed by a training session with the team to get them confidently up and running

📍 Falkirk Baptist
Back on site installing their new digital stage box and additional stage boxes to give them even more flexibility moving forward

📍 Holy Trinity Church, Melrose
Installed a new Allen & Heath Qu-Pac to simplify their audio setup, alongside repositioning speakers to improve coverage and clarity for the congregation

…all while building racks and preparing equipment ready for us to head up to Uist in a couple of weeks for another exciting project 👀

Last week we were back on South Uist, continuing our work at Cnoc Soilleir.

The team has been hard at work starting terminations on the main AV rack, as well as the facility panels throughout the main space. Great progress is being made as the system begins to take shape.

We’re now taking a well-earned Easter break, before returning in a couple of weeks to push things forward again.
