We’ve been a bit quiet on social media recently… but that’s because it’s been a busy few weeks here at Progression AV! 👀🎛️🔊

Here’s a little of what we’ve been up to recently:

📍 Arc Marquees
Installing a new video conferencing solution

📍 Tilly Baptist
Installation of a new Allen & Heath SQ5 console and digital stage box, followed by a training session with the team to get them confidently up and running

📍 Falkirk Baptist
Back on site installing their new digital stage box and additional stage boxes to give them even more flexibility moving forward

📍 Holy Trinity Church, Melrose
Installed a new Allen & Heath Qu-Pac to simplify their audio setup, alongside repositioning speakers to improve coverage and clarity for the congregation

…all while building racks and preparing equipment ready for us to head up to Uist in a couple of weeks for another exciting project 👀

Last week we were back on South Uist, continuing our work at Cnoc Soilleir.

The team has been hard at work starting terminations on the main AV rack, as well as the facility panels throughout the main space. Great progress is being made as the system begins to take shape.

We’re now taking a well-earned Easter break, before returning in a couple of weeks to push things forward again.

Another strong finish from the Progression AV team 👏

We’ve just completed a new audio and livestreaming system for Elgin Parish Church, with a clear goal — significantly improve speech clarity throughout the space.

Nexo loudspeakers delivered once again, paired with an Allen & Heath CQ console and Audio-Technica microphones for precise control and consistent, high-quality sound.

On the video side, we installed a PTZOptics camera with a Blackmagic ATEM Mini, creating a reliable and professional livestreaming setup.

With a tight deadline ahead of an important service this morning, the team pulled it out the bag and delivered both the system and the standard we pride ourselves on

Last week we completed the next stage of our AV project at Canongate Kirk – a truly stunning and historically significant church.

It’s been great working alongside the wider team of contractors to ensure everything is progressing smoothly and with care for such a special building. We’re looking forward to returning once the scaffolding is down and painting is complete to commission the system and deliver training on their new audio and livestreaming setup.

Next stop: Elgin Parish Church tomorrow 🔧

Another busy weekend for the Progression AV team! 💪

We were back over at Cnoc Soilleir after the flooring installation got brought forward, which meant we needed to get all our high-level works wrapped up before the next phase could begin.

It made for a couple of long days, but the team pushed through and got the job done. All 5 lighting bars are now rigged and terminated, and the PA system has been flown and ready for the next stage of the install. 🔧🎤💡

A big effort from everyone involved to keep the project moving on schedule.

Now it’s time to catch the ferry home! ⛴️

It’s been a full-on week at Progression AV 👌

✅ Town hall solution completed for Blackcircles — now they can host large in-person meetings while streaming live to their work-from-home teams at the same time. Hybrid done properly.

It’s been a great week here at Progression AV 👌

We’ve just completed a new audio installation at Roslin Parish Church, delivering a tailored LD Systems & Audio Technica solution that fitted the bill perfectly — especially important with a tight budget. Clear, reliable sound without compromise.

From there, we moved straight into starting a Townhall solution for Blackcircles at their Edinburgh office. We’ll be back on site next week to bring it over the line and can’t wait to see the finished result in action.

No two weeks are ever the same — and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

Last week was a big one for the Progression AV team.

We were back on South Uist continuing our project at Cnoc Soilleir, making great progress and always grateful to be working in such a special part of the world.

No sooner were we home than we were straight into a full weekend behind the console for Magnitude Worship Nights in Edinburgh and Glasgow — always a highlight in our calendar. It’s a privilege to help create an environment where people can fully engage without distraction.

We also had the chance to put some new kit through its paces, with additions from Earthworks and NEXO joining the setup 👌 Looking forward to using these on more projects in the months ahead.
