Our thanks to Skan PA Hire Ltd for once again highlighting the plight of the music and entertainment industry during the Covid-19 crisis. Venues, rental companies, staff and crew of all disciplines, equipment distributors and manufacturers are all struggling, many still with little or no financial support since the shutdown in March. While we welcome recent Government funding announcements for the performing arts, it is clear that there is a very long way to go to protect the diverse businesses and professionals that make the events happen. Without this, a significant part of our economy and culture will be destroyed.
