Another day of great weather for a survey last week down in the beautiful Lake District. We were instructed to come up with a workable solution to build a site in the heart of the Lake District which presents challenges through limited access, steep terrain, and a lot of foot traffic from hill walkers. Successful day out with a workable solution.

We are thrilled to showcase our DC140 which has been recently installed at a site in the channel Islands. This stunning structure is a perfect match for the coastal landscape and is a great solution in areas where there is an emphasis on site aesthetics. With guyed arms and a nautical style headframe, the DC140 offers a distinctive look compared to traditional poles/towers.

Great to see a time served original being rolled out with a modern facelift, the result is fantastic.

The DC385 Timber Clad Steel Monopole is the perfect versatile solution for National Parks, rural and suburban locations. The strength, rigidity and durability of the pole is retained by using our standard DC380 steel pole, with the hardwood finish stained to match to be sympathetic to the surrounding natural environment. The result - a robust structure that softens the visual impact associated with standard towers and poles.

The monopole is designed to provide an aesthetically pleasing alternative to traditional poles and towers, particularly in greenfield/heritage sites where there is a need for structures to blend in visually, and thus preserving the look of the natural landscape. The cladding used on the DC385 can be tailormade to order to best complement the surrounding environment, whilst the base steel pole ensures that the loading capacity of the structure is not sacrificed for aesthetics. We can provide the DC385 in a range of heights and with the option to attach several headframes to suit your site requirements.

We have recently completed 3no. brickwork pattern GRP replacement shrouds due for installation at a church site. The shrouds have been colour and texture matched to the building brickwork and we are really pleased with the result!

Our team will be installing soon, and we will follow up with site pictures once completed – stay posted for updates.

Following on from construction updates at the start of the year we are now pleased to highlight the completed 35m DC410 on the Isle of Arran.

The dual tone painting (green – bottom and grey - top) helps reduce the impact of the tower by blending in with the surrounding forest whilst the final 10m disappears in the Scottish cloud! Another secure, clean site delivered for our customer.

A fitting end to the year with the design, supply, build and install of this newly completed 35m DC410 island site. 2023 disappeared in a flash and the early signs indicate 2024 will continue on the same trajectory!

As we wind down for the festive break we would like to wish all of our customers and suppliers a happy new year and hope that 2024 brings health and happiness for all.

We will be open until Friday 22nd and then the DC Team will be signing off for 2023 and will be rested and ready for the year ahead.

This week we have been delivering on our pledge to plant a tree for every tower/GRP shroud product manufactured over the year. With storm Babet fast approaching we managed to get all 250 trees planted in 2 days and get safely off the island of Islay before the storm hit.

Sustainability and the Environment are part of Dynamic Concepts' DNA which can be traced back to products such as the DC280 timber pole and recycled rubber ballast antenna mounts. Our R&D team always follow the mantra of “reduce, reuse, recycle" in the design of our new products.

We are pleased to have been recertified for another 3 years for our ISO9001_2015. Another year with zero NC’s. Thanks to all involved in managing the process and to all staff for ensuring it is followed and utilised correctly. Onwards to attaining our ISO_14001 which we hope to have in place early 2024.

At Dynamic Concepts we are committed to reducing our impact on the environment. Through our existing initiatives, services and design practises, we are pleased to have taken steps to lessen our own environmental impact. However, we can always do more. Currently we are working on projects and developing new solutions for facilitating renewable power on sites and looking at more opportunities to expand our products/services portfolio to offer more sustainable solutions.

As promised, we are pleased to be able to follow up with this remote site build in the highlands of Scotland now that the DC380 monopole has been installed. We are happy with the result which is a nice clean site for what was a challenging build. Finally, the pole colour was requested by others and not selected by Dynamic Concepts 😉

Say hi to Bruce!

Bruce has been in our offices this week on work experience learning all about the day to day business.

He has been very busy with all sorts of tasks; administrative, warehouse and design too!

His highlight was working with CAD and he said there were no lows.
